Most common cause of oil around the engine block is the 'PCV VALVE'. Jst a blocked/bad pcv valve/sensor can give you more than 8 common symptoms including black smoke?

Thanks alot Instead of using ordinary water in the radiator, you can use a gallon of coolant then mix it with water. Never allow that radiator reserve to run dry and don't always fill it to the brim. Thank me later |

That was how I drove from delta to Nsuka with a leaking gear oil, courtesy of a mechanic who replaced my bad driving shaft . Never knew the seal was bad. |

I have been noticing oil shortage in my 2007 Honda Accord, so that I have to top up from time to time. I have replaced oil seals and stuffs but the shortage is still occurring. There are no signs of oil dropping on the ground. I usually service with Honda synthetic 5w20. I have used the car for 10 years. Started noticing this sometime last year. I actually got oil seal change for my Hyundai Elantra this week.
Apparently the serpentine belt cut and the pieces got stuck in one of the pulleys, damaging the oil seal.
Always change your belt as soon as you notice anything wrong with it. |

I decided to be doing the car servicing myself because most mechanics are careless. Most times will not tight the the oil drain plug or over tight oil filter or put excess oil more than required by the engine to function great. 1 Like |
