Please I really need this information if an average worker in the US earn around 75K dollars annually, a man said his expenses yearly will be around 8k,
Please those in the Western countries I need first hand information, please I never go before. I am just trying to rationalize it,
Please your input is appreciated,
And lastly I tried Google the expenses the man said I should not depend on Google that Nigerians abroad have a way they do it.

Of course..

His annual expense is hugely under stated though except he doesn't sleep nor have an accommodation.

Even if he stays with his parents and doesn't contribute a dime in the house, his expenses will still go over the stated $8k per annum.

It is very possible to save up #100M in 3 years.

Even with a care giver job, that amount of income annually is very possible.

So gross is 75k
Net is about 45-50k . Let’s say 50k after taxes
Divide by 26
About $2000 every 2 weeks
Rent =
Or Mortgage payment=
If mortgage payment then property tax =
RRSP=
Feeding=
Clothes=
Vehicle payment =
Insurance for vehicle
Misc = car maintenance, gas or bus pass, restaurant expenses.
Bills = Internet , TV , mobile phone , electricity, water bill.
Are kids involved ?
Family insurance =
Kids daycare bill =
Kids clothes =
Vacation = ?

Plus when you file income tax- the tax man could still garnish you for not saving or giving money to charity .

100m is about 150,000US you can’t save that in your life time without some form of investment plan . Like permanent policy. In 3 years never.
If anyone claims otherwise I’ll wager N250,000 to show me proof.

Why bother? Most people are delusional. That's why they take to crime so much after relocating, they realise that life isn't what they expected, they start looking for short cuts.

Exactly ! If it were that easy as he claimed to be people wont be busting their asses to make ends meet. People have 2/3jobs. Some get paid under the table so the tax man doesn't get them. How can expenses be 8k annually ? LMAO..

Then to everyone he's own.
I've worked and lived there so I know.
As long as his way is legit and not cheating the tax man - My offer still stands.

As an American citizen I’ll tell you that $8k in living expenses a year is ridiculously impossible. And without proper certification and tenure, $75k for a teacher isn’t common.

With that 75K can someone save
100 million naira in three years?
That's the big question,
That means living expenses will be around 8K dol per annual

I do not know what 100m is in dollars and too lazy to check.

but 8k annually is practically impossible.

Apartment cost alone is more than 8k annually except you are living in a studio apartment or a shared apartment

Cost of living varies from state to state though.

If you live extremely frugal, i.e student kinda frugality, you should be spending $1500 monthly with a shared studio apartment

In the UK & US you WILL not earn that amount after taxes considering that the person is a non-professional.

Exactly! The main reason why people travel abroad is a better quality of life. Taxes, accommodation and bills are expensive but you can still save depending on where you live.
Omo! But $1500 for a studio is expensive sha! That must be a high-brow area in the US just like London and its surrounding areas where accommodation is expensive when compared to Northern England.

You have been in nigeria for more than 30 years you didn’t make 2M, but you want to travel to a different country with different way of life to rake in 100m in three years.. please take it easy

my bad lol.

What i am saying is "If you want to live extremely frugal, you should be spending 1500 a month and that means you will probably share an apartment with someone"

$1500 is the total living expense of a frugal person
