Lekan Abdul is the CEO of Bond Global Energy Projects Limited (BGEPL),an independent petroleum product marketing company with its head office located in Lagos,Nigeria. Lekan is a thorough-bred marketing professional with a wealth of experience in diverse business backgrounds including the financial sector, Marketing communications and Pharmaceutical industries.

He has been a major contributor to the aviation fuel industry for the past 25 years with past roles as Head of Aviation Business (Northern Region) with Conoil Plc and founding member of Aviation Air and Land Services Limited (AALSL) now SO Aviation in partnership with Sahara Group. Whilst at AALSL, he served as both the Operations and Marketing Director at different periods and left the company as the Vice President, Operations and Logistics.

He also served as the Managing Director of Cleanserve Integrated Energy Solutions Limited (CIES). In support of the development of the African Economy, Lekan has invested in several organizations using sustainable business models geared at reducing poverty and unemployment in Nigeria. He is also a philanthropist with significant contribution to several projects in support of children and the development of sports in Nigeria. Lekan is a recipient of the African Business Leadership Award – Young Leaders’ category, the third Nigerian to win the award in Africa. Lekan is an alumnus of University of Ibadan and University of Lagos.

He holds an MBA Marketing from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and an M. Sc. in Economics from the University of Lagos. Lekan currently serves on boards of various growing companies within and outside Nigeria. He is a keen badminton enthusiast and currently sits on the board of the Lagos State Badminton Association.

He is happily married and blessed with children.
