Ex-presidents are presently being paid less than 400k which is the basic salary of the sitting president.
Ex-governors in Lagos are being paid same salaries and emoluments as the sitting governor according to Tinubu's law. Not only that, they get choice houses in Abuja, Lagos and prime areas of Nigeria.
Tinubu will sign such bill for presidents too if he gets into the seat.

Saraki wasn't a saint and can never be measured alongside being a saint. He only played politics that satisfied his ambition. He felt the APC wasn't going to give him the SP hence his collaboration with PDP that played well for him. That isn't a check for good leadership.

The Lagos Assembly is a one party assembly but the national assembly comprises of various parties. Except if their own corruptible mindset as we have seen overtime won't allow them stand for the right thing.
