What kind of people come up with this sort of news? What kind of people spread this sort of falsehood? What kind of people believe this sort of nonsense?
The ignorance is disturbing.
If it was the other way round, the nigerian army parading a goat, what would you have said ? What would have been your reaction?

This is the British carrying a white ram (intended for sacrifice) for the crowning and declaration of Prince Charles as King of England.

This is their ancient tradition and culture (Ọdịnaanị na Omenaanị as we call it).

If this was an African king or Ìgbò chief, our brainwashed Christian brethren will call it idol worship, worshipping Alusi, and paganism.

These are the same people that brought you the "church" and told you that your ways were evil. They deceived you to abandon your ancient ways, only for them to hold unto their own.

See them celebrate their own with pride.

Africa wake up.

Fake News. Charles' coronation won't take place before mid to late 2023. There's no place in the programme for animal sacrifice. The suggestion is preposterous. Charles himself is an animal rights activist and would never allow such I'm all for culture and identity, but we shouldn't be making wild claims to push our culture agenda. Animal sacrifice is barbaric. It has no place in modern Britain ..It shouldn't take place in any modern society..

kazyhm:

Did you watch the loyalty oath/pledge by the British Parliament ? Irrespective of their religious beliefs, sexual orientation, gender and their diverse reservation on the importance of the royal family to the British system of Government

The firing and other stuff

But when African king dies, every religious group starts foaming in the month against the traditional rites to select and install a new one.

This present Ooni for example even went as far as kneeling down in the church...

Meanwhile, Bishop of Scotland came to the palace for the coronation rites, no choirs, no ushers, no speaking in tongues, no single hymn was sang......

Now you're talking about a Ram being part of the British military army ( that in itself sounds barbaric).....what is the duty of the Ram as a military personnel ?....just imagine a goat as a member of a vigilante group in Nigeria.....you all will be binding and casting it in the name of Jesus.

It is even funny, they retired the Ram to a zoo. All the wages the Ram earned during his service was used for what ?....no personal house, family/relatives, retirement benefits etc ?

Even the way the Ram was held in this picture, that king's guard is suppose to be in detention by now (animal cruelty)

As much as I know that that this thread photo is not really what it's claiming, there's no doubting the fact that a lot of blood sacrifices HAS BEEN and WILL BE made in all of these burial and coronation CEREMONIES, albeit PRIVATELY under utmost secrecy.

Why are you so economical with the truth. Being a Christian in not by force, if you are an idol worshipper continue worshiping your idols.
If church missionaries did not build school, I wonder whether you will be able to read or write even in your local language

The goat is the official mascot for the Regimental Mascot of 3rd Battalion The Royal Welsh, and took part in the historic proceedings on Sunday, September 11.

Prior to the Proclamation, 26 men from the regiment marched alongside Shenkin from City Hall to the Castle.

A goat is the traditional mascot for the Royal Welsh, with different regiments having different names for their goat.
Official mascots have a regimental number and rank, and can be promoted and demoted like human soldiers - the current Shenkin is a lance corporal.

Lol cheesy cheesy... That's my area of interest. I'm not interested in whether it would be used for sacrifice or not. But the adornment of a goat as a Lance corporal is funny and absurd. cheesy

Looks like what the white westerners would condemn as uncivilized, primitive and backward in another culture. Very funny and clownish cheesy

Anyways, the goat go sweet well for pepper soup o... Very healthy meat oh la la! Beautiful white goat, I can imagine roasting it. grin cheesy grin wink

"And at Cardiff Castle, more than 2,000 people witnessed Wales Herald of Arms Extraordinary, Tom Lloyd, and the Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan, Morfudd Meredith, read the proclamation of the new King in English and Welsh. Prior to the Proclamation, 26 men of the 3rd Battalion the Royal Welsh - supported by the Band of the Royal Welsh - were marching from City Hall at 11.25am along the Boulevard de Nantes, North Road and Duke Street to the castle. They were accompanied by the regimental mascot, a Welsh billy goat called Lance Corporal Shenkin IV, and Goat Major Sergeant Mark Jackson."

Colonialist did not force religion on Africans, if it was so all Africans would have been practising Christianity because all colonialist countries like Britain, France, Portugal are Christian dominated countries and they colonize Africa, America, Asia etc. Nigeria as a country is not dominated by Christianity despite the colonial era
All those advanced countries did not reject the religion but they are already established among themselves a true religion which is 'Love"
