There's a reason they say knowledge is power. For by knowledge shall the just be delivered. Ignorance of the law is not a tenable excuse. 37 Likes 7 Shares |

The word is enough for the wise. Lagos is not the only state you can live. Try other states if you feel that our laws are too stringent. Thank you. 65 Likes 4 Shares |

It's only the first, driving against traffic that should attract impoundment. The one way road must be without any doubt. Not the ones they deliberately put in place to set up unsuspecting motorists. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Indispensable85: Abi nah Most Nigerians are lawless that's the reason. We prefer going to other climes to obey their laws, but prefer to violate ours. How will others take us serious? 23 Likes 2 Shares |

Do the people that made this law, keep it? I mean even the LG chairman flouts it as well as political people. Fines are meant for traffic law offenders, fine them and move on, it's not a do or die affair. Also signs are missing on many Lagos roads, one cannot know them all hence the need for Signs. |

Indispensable85:Thanks for this. I know for a fact many won't read this and still continue to wallow in their ignorance. When they're caught breaking traffic rule, they're run to social media and start showing just how ignorant and morally dubious they are. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Fine of N100k is more appropriate for driving against one way plus a daily demurrage of N10k. Failure to pay up within a month should then lead to forfeiture of the car. This seem fair enough. A year imprisonment plus forfeiture of car for a first time offender is too harsh. The law should be reviewed. 10 Likes 1 Share |

There is no ignorance in law. If you know you can't abide by the set laws then don't drive on Lagos road. 8 Likes 1 Share |

The traffic law is necessary most especially in lagos.. I was caught with my mobile while I was driving some days ago in CPH. I got a fine of 300 euros and a clip on my driving license since that day my fingers is now far away from my mobile while driving 7 Likes |
