It is not a day and night calculation but one-third of the sentence which is 14 years. It is not automatic but dependent on his conduct while in jail.

Some people here shouting 21yrs is small are not even upto 21yrs in real age and are here shouting is Small just for kidnapping but Boko Haram are been given amnesty after all thier killing and bombing with plenty kidnaping record and all the money paid to them yest nothing was done by the federal.

Evans might not be a kidnapper the way his case swings because the so called criminal and over rated Abba khaki who arrested him and levelled all sorts of allegations on him had a fallout with him ...the duo know what their problem is....Abba khaki had to use his federal might to punish him severely.. Now Abba khaki and his deadly gang are incarcerated the truth cannot be scuttle again.. So justice is gradually being served to Evans.. Maybe another news on his case might be that he has been freed unconditionally.....let's watch as the drama unfolds...
