Manchester united problem is recruitment, from the top to bottom that's the problem. They had the chance of securing Mourinho immediately Ferguson retired, they went for Moyes. Pep left Bayern for a year sabbatical before returning to the dug out they didn't go for him. The Manchester City you see today could have been United.

On top of that they sign players without a clear plan on how they fit in. United has spent as much money as City for the last 10 years but the difference is that City go for players who fit in while United go for big name signings who do not even worth the huge fees they command.

The only manager that would have fixed United was Mourinho and they chose useless players like Pogba over him. Even the so called United legends and the English media ripped into him.

United saving grace right now is to back Erik ten Haag because I can see he knows what he is doing and I'm sure he knows the players that need to go and those that needs to stay.

United should reinforce their midfield, they need players who can hold the ball and spring up passes.
