Government should relegate ASUU to the background and start dealing with the new unions. That will teach them a lesson 1 Like |

Dedekc: And they will still be paid with IPPIS not that fraud UTAS they came up with to still be collecting multiple salaries from different universities At a touch of a botton, you will see all their salaries and where they are collecting it from. Bunch of thieves 3 Likes |

OnionBandit:Of course you will compare a cowherder who only has 150 cows from year to year to someone who has managed multi billion companies and thousands of human resources…you will compare a man with a questionable and deeply contested nepa certificate to a man with a certified university degree and certifications in Ivy League institutions. Why am I not surprised…the highest concentration of black dumbos is found in Nigeria after all. |

BeardGangJnr1:Oga stop with this nonsense. Are you proud of how our universities are? The very people you are defending have their children in schools abroad. Why are they not in the fantastic schools here? If not that the government is useless, how will you even think of forcing lecturers to class via court rulings instead of ironing out things amicably? ASUU can obey the court judgement but will the teach? Who told you they cannot declare another strike in the next one month after resumption? So how have you solved the issue? What the house of rep did is what Ngige and Adamu should have done since instead of grandstanding. And hope the government will honor it's agreement with ASUU, otherwise we will be back to square one soon 2 Likes |

haslaw:You the ignorant one here. So what happens when you force them to open schools? Will you also force them to teach? And what will the students learn under poor condition of university together with unhappy lecturers? Ask your self why these politicians pay huge sums abroad for their children to study, go to abroad to treat themselves of headache, ear pain etc, even have political meetings abroad. Ask yourself these questions and maybe your ignorance will be cleared 1 Like |

BeardGangJnr1:Please can you put side by side what Ngige put forward and what the house agreed? It looks as though you even know what has not been disclosed already. Many people speculate on what they know nothing about and it is a big problem. A lot of people don't even know the issues involved in the ASUU and government tussles. The only thing they know is ASUU want their salaries increased and that's all. It is quite a shame on this country that we cannot get the simplest of things right |

haslaw:What will they see? You are just mirroring what you are. No wonder we are led by this useless people. We will see the wrong path they are taking and foolishly back them. The same people with their children studying abroad cos of the decay in our schools o. But here you are dancing shamelessly in their support. There no hope for this country with this kind of mentality |

He went abroad to study a course in another university, wonder how he felt to know that the reason he was enjoying that course abroad is because the government of that country takes education serious. If the payment of these guys were tied to their performance many of these issues like the strike would been resolved long ago, but alas they receive payments for nothing so don't care. A look at the 2023 budget will tell you what I mean, how much budgeted for education vs how much budgeted for travelling spree and newspapers (in this digital era) |

OnionBandit:I swear I will also removed my support from Apc if those lecturers were to paid 7months salaries. That will amount to height of injustice. ASUU is trying to get cheap sympathy from Nigerians by posing as if they don’t want the strike to be long. They initially wanted to go on strike till the end of this administration but when they see they are loosing on multiple front such as loading Nigerian sympathy, losing at industrial court and appeal court, they are now prepared to shift ground. Conua have come to stay for good and betterment of Nigeria university. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Federal govt is a body with hierarchy it's not Gbajas place to negotiate I have nothing against ASUU or any politican just pointing out the mess this administration is. |
