You won't know the impact of the agitation against marginalization of the Igbo until you visit the East. I was somewhere in the town where I grew up and the first thing I noticed was that the police station in the area no longer exists. Learnt it was taken out by UGM. One of our neighbors, a lady that owned a shop about a kilometer from the station died from stray bullet the same day the station was burnt down.

I left the city for the village and one family at the village told me that a policeman, a native of the village has been missing for 6 months plus. What's weird is that no one knows his whereabout, not even the police. All they know is that he was assigned to an escort duty to a VIP and the man just disappeared. Another police officer that lives in the village, Yoruba man is dead. His own case is even better than the other since his family saw a body.

Also, the closest police station to my home in the village has been burnt down. When they were narrating the story to me, i actually thought they were talking about a filling station close by before I remembered that the UGM phenomenon is all across the Igbo nation.

It's obvious that what's happening in the East is either terror or asymmetrical warfare, systematically eliminating security agents. I've been wondering why the government cannot work on negotiating a settlement. Who knows how many policemen, soldiers and non-combatants have been killed. It's just a matter of time for people to become scared of joining any of these and the East becomes a wild West.

With BH in NE, UGM in the SE, armed militants in the SS, bandits in the NW and ISWAP in NE and SW, the country may be sitting on a keg of gunpowder.

Politics has really divided Nigeria's unity, too many hate comments am reading here, this 2023 election is going to be one of a kind as the three major tribes in Nigeria has a representative. It's gonna be a tribal based election. After the damage APC has done, they still have the nerves to campaign. Na the foolish citizens I blame sha.

This is beyond Obi the coward. He fled PDP. Tinubu stood his ground and won the APC ticket because even the kinsmen of Buhari recognise the power and influence of Tinubu and his ethnic group.

Only Tinubu, because of his political sagacity and formidable support base, can implement the fundamental changes Nigeria needs to become a progressive and successful nation.

If your ethnic group is soo powerful, why not become an independent nation so that the weaker tribes can build the country. Dunderheads

Mmhh, so the security agents being killed are only Igboes, anyway, ignorance is bliss
The other day, civilians in an estate in wuse where attacked by bandits, in Abuja for that matter, one injured civilian with blood gushing from his body, rushed to a military check point near the estate, but the soldiers declined his olea for assistance, he then rushed to the nearest police station, yet no help, the guy while collapsing due to loss of blood managed to call his brother who took him to a private hospital, where he was resuscitated, for you due to tribalism, 100 Nigerians dieing won't hurt you, so far as a single Igbo man is included among the dead, so you will continue supporting imbeciles to be Nigerian leaders, so far as the came from same ethnic group or religion with you, if you can afford it, you will quickly rush your sick child to the best doctor in town, regardless of his ethnic group, you'll happily recommend the best school in town for your child, regardless of the ethnic group of the proprietor, but when it comes to who will lead Nigeria, you forget competency and the most qualified, you hand Nigeria to olodos and useless criminals to run, then you'll turn around and start complaining that the country is retrogressing, listen up guy, don't ever think history will forget, and your children and all your future generations will be ashamed to learn the ignoble useless role their ancestor played in destroying their country.

I also think that the government should release Kanu. He seems to be the only one the people are ready to listen to. And yes, Obi is the right person considering he's an Igbo and understands what the agitation is about. He has also said he's going to negotiate with IPOB, that's a good idea.
So if they release kanu, all the chaos he mastermind will just go like that, innocent souls, police men, millitary men, hahahah, I'm igbo from mbaise imo,I swear I want kanu to rot in jail,or he bring his boys to book, then he'll be released, you think government is dumb, don't mind my fellow Igbos that's gullible, always saying kanu has no case , hahaha,I laugh in California where I reside now, ain't going back to the east till I die, I've relocated all my immediate family here,we don't care anymore

Policemen are worstly hit and the bulk of them are from the South East. If you are versed with knowledge of the internal organisation of the police force, you'd know that the ratio of natives versus Outsiders serving in a Geo-political zone is 80:20.

Also, the 20 percent of the outsiders serving in a State's division are mostly high ranking officers and the least likely to be hit.

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/412122-how-10000-newly-recruited-constables-will-be-deployed-police.html

It means that for every 100 police officers killed, 80 of them are likely to be Igbos while 20 of them will be outsiders.

The casualty suffered by the Nigerian Army in the South East from the inception of the unrest are less than 100. Officials of the Nigerian Airforce and Naval officers killed are less than 20 combined. More policemen, vigilante and civilians tagged as saboteurs have died in the hands of the unknown gunmen. You were there when Atiku and Tinubu were handing out $50,000 ba? You should be ashamed of yourself asking us to form opinion on speculation, hearsay and gossip.

What is confirmed is that Tinubu and Atiku stood their ground and contested like men. So did Wike, Tambuwal and Anyim.

Ditto Osinbajo, Amaechi, Gayemi, Yaya Bwllo etal. It was only Obi who fled entirely because he is a cowardand duplicitous character.

That is the fact we must deal with not your market women gossip about candidates bribing delegates with Lekki mansions in 15 virgins.

If you Igbos are wise you would support the leader with the sagacity, universal authority and political backing to deliver what is shown below that we all know will be resisted vehemently by those who will eat Obi up and spit his bones out.

Tinubu is the only politician who can deal with very powerful and solidly entrenched enemies of Nigeria's progress.

Not even the Waffen SS had the capacity to kill all the Jews in Europe as much as they wanted. Don't forget that these guys had only flags when the government started killing them. They now have guns. Tomorrow, they may acquire more. And when you kill passive secessionists what happens? More borderline secessionists join the ranks of arm welding killers. Have you wondered why ISWAP and BH do not show your military mercy when they capture them? It's the same reason that American soldiers don't show the Waffen SS mercy despite the Geneva Convention.

With the Eastern monster eating up your military which is not known for exploit aside with unarmed combatants, how long will they survive? A friend of mine whose brother is a security agent posted to Borno told me the young man is dead. Are soldiers in limitless supply?

We are so in a terrible mess that even Buhari is praying that his 8 remaining months will quickly expire so he can run away to hide in Dubai with his family, and watch as the country erupt in chaos.

Nigerians aren't going to vote for Obi simply because IPOB terrorists are killing people. Most of us don't even care about the happenings going on there. So this 'better vote for Obi or IPOB keeps troubling the east' is a form of blackmail we won't submit to

It's sad people that reside in the south east don't broadcast what is happening in their towns and villages because they don't want to tarnish the image of UGM and IPOB. Some of them even deny that such a heinous crime happened in the south east.
Continue broadcasting in your whatsapp group no to report what is happening. The world will not know.
You have a powerful tool called social media and you have phones but don't want to broadcast.
