This is laughable, as these doctors and nurses paid through their nose in other to acquire knowledge, so your comments doesn’t hold water.

You should put pressure on the government to create an enabling environment for health practitioners so they can reciprocate the gestures!

I absolutely agree, the way “we” think is twisted……and I’m certain you also will agree with me that mass migration of the economic strength of the nation won’t in any way translate to economic prosperity that will solve the problems mentioned.

How about we start bringing “our” bright, untwisted minds together to birth policies that will be effective towards changing the trajectory of our economic situation since majority of the sane ones know we have incapable manpower at the helm of policy making.

My point is that there is no reason to forcefully prevent people from economic migration.

Forget all this big English and be realistic. The only sensible way to stop economic migration is to make things favorable in the home country. Pay your workers livable wages. Pay their salaries when due. Provide good working conditions. Make the climate palatable for investors in the private sector who will in turn become employers of labor.

Why block people’s pathway to better provide for their families? Most people leaving would rather stay if the conditions were better.

Don’t even talking about changing policies when we can see the people being pushed forward as our next presidents. No hope in that aspect.

Don’t blame them for leaving. They were pushed. But menh, if you leave Nigeria to any Western country, you will regret ever being born in Nigeria.

Ask someone you know that lives in Europe or America

Who told you they work like slaves? You just open your mouth waaaaaa and talk trash. When I was in Nigeria before leaving to UK after passing my PLAB exams, I have had series of rest of mind without thinking of doing so much work. I work with the best of equipment in the hospital and I don't over work myself. Patients hardly see the Doctor unlike here in Nigeria everything is Dr...Dr.
.Dr.. I remember working for 72 hours as a house officer in Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Ile-ife which can never happen anywhere in developed countries. I earn a reasonable amount of money and enjoy myself with my life and property secured .
. You can't create laws and tell people not to leave the system. You can't force people to stay in Nigeria. You can't make life difficult for one not to migrate for green pastures. In as much people are leaving there are those that want to stay as well. Don't come here and be forcing Doctors to stay and treat Nigerians. If you so that a Doctor can deliberately kill a patient and nobody will know after all there are easy ways to kill patients without anybody even having a idea of what went wrong. Don't ever suggest holding them back in Nigeria because your relatives or yourself can be a victim of circumstance in the wrong hands of a Doctor who wanted to leave and was deprived of that opportunity and you can die in his or her hands. You can only advocate for better rumeration and good working condition for them.
Pls stop saying they are slaves or working like a slave. You have not been to America or United Kingdom to know how their system works. It's even you that is in Nigeria that works like a slave than those working abroad as a doctor I speak from experience. They value human life and they don't over work a doctor. They know how many hours a doctor ought to work to prevent physician burnout unlike Nigeria where nobody cares.

oya oga run away dr

How much did you pay as fees and how much are the fees there

could your parent afford the fees if it was not government funded

You ingrate of a human being ..... the fingers you left pointing here are gonna still remain where u left

they are recruiting nurses and doctors from outside uk cause they need people who can follow any order, even the order to kill patient.
They need medical staff from countries they have kept Hungary and needy, As one European aristocrat said, there is a huge advantage to keeping are large population of poor desperate people for when you need people who can do anything you say.

What i have experienced of this African doctors in Europe is no different from what we get regards other Africans, they hate African patient .
When its your turn in the queue, he relaxes into the i can talk shit this one, and he treats the oyinbo patients like gods.
I never went back to the clinic after my encounter with fellow Nigerian doctor. If i had recorded the conversation on how alarmingly rude he was to me he would have been struck off.

If you are in Europe likely to have to use African doctor, know that they like to treat fellow Africans like shit, take your phone record the conversation.

Useless african people will never find peace or happiness until they stop hating themselves, until then all your fellow africans are probably your worst enemy. In the same clinic where oyinbo is treating me with disrespect, asian doctor treated me like a brother, fellow Nigerian doctor from same tribe as me Yoruba comes and treats me like animal . I disowned that tribe decades ago, fking crazy shallow people, with sell-out written all over the Yoruba soul.

I never went back there. And they only reason they are recruiting this wicked souls into European healthcare is cause they need wicked medical staff from desperate population, who will kill patients when asked to.

This huge recruitment of African medical staff is already cause major concern amongst the oyinbo population who know exactly why this wicked African medical staff are being recruited .

I hate it when people blow lies here there. Do you know that a single report from a patient as regards being rude or polite could get a doctor's or nurse's licence(practice pin) withdrawn. Your experience, it is your fault because you are in a system that works and refused to report. That means the doctor is not entirely at fault, you might be the cause of it.

If anything, an African man fears his source of income being shut against him. So your story never backed any of your thought up. Yes there can be rude people, but you will have to spur them up yourself.

Yes they are to blame. They are the architect of the brain drain in the country right now. But if we all professionals leave, there is a big problem.

I have been with Kenyan doctor in Europe, very nice man, Asian treated me like brother, but Yoruba doctor, demon from hell

Best way to reduce this is to increase the duration of internship, increase their wages and increase the quota of new students
see you've already shown your socialist credentials
Do you think demand and supply cares whatt you increase?
Which money will you use to increase their wages and train more free students? Or you think classroom and theatre and equipment is free? After to allow them go so they can dollars back home

Foolish nurses, want to Japa to go and work as slaves in the white man land.

I Spit on Africans that are running away from their country, instead of staying to develop it.

If the ancestors of the white man ran away from their land, would their country be as developed as it is today.

Instead of running away because things are difficult in your country, stay and fight for the betterment of your country.
