E be like say this man go be the next president? His real rival is Peter Obi who has eaten into his votes. Many rabid fans of Obi were fully Atikulated in 2019.

Were there to be a runoff, and Peter Obi becomes his beautiful bride, Atiku is surely destined to win.

But it's on the records of the US government that Atiku Abubakar bribed a US Senator who is still serving jail term for Atiku bribe.
Atiku is a political pariah before the US government, irrespective of the number of campaign visits Atiku makes in the US.

You are correct about Atiku's sleazy halo that follows him around. It will be his greatest undoing if he does win the presidency as you succeed best with free market policies with transperancy. Dirty dealings make liberalisation, deregulation and privatisation messy and difficult.

That was clearly seen during the Babangida and Jonathan governments.

The GSM licence sale went well because it was carries out with transparency under OBJ. The bank recapitalisation was carried out successfully as no bank was above the law. Friends in high places won't save you. Yes, there were some shortcomings with some recapitalized banks but it had more to do with Soludo's inexperience as a banker. Lamido Sanusi had to pump money into the insolvent banks.

That of the Discos and Gencos under GEJ was a fiasco as it was believed they were sold to cronies and underfinanced companies. The country is paying a very high price for this gaffe down to this day.

Thanks. But you did not mention Atiku's sale of NITEL for a token to one white man with a briefcase as office. After the sale, Nigeria lost NITEL which it had put millions of dollars earlier to establish.

PDP's years of misrule made an incompetent Buhari look competent to Nigerians.

And now here we are reaping the fruits....sigh.

PDP did very well for Nigeria if you care to do a careful examination of their time in power.

I understand the confusion though. PDP had two wings or branches. One was predominantly technocrats, trained or devoted to modern neo-liberal economic ideology. It was OBJ that brought them into power. Okonjo-Iweala, Adesina, Soludo and others. They were devoted to privatization and deregulation of prices.

There was another branch of PDP composed of those who had continously fed fat on government patronage, contacts and connections. Saraki, Yaradua, El-Rufai and others. They were the core of New PDP that broke away when Jonathan attempted to scrap the corrupt fuel subsidy. All those people are now in APC.

It wasn't just the elites that deserted President Jonathan, it was also THE PEOPLE of Nigeria. You have told me how angry YOU were when Jonathan attempted to remove fuel subsidy.

The progress made by PDP in telecoms, banking, broadcasting, cement and also monetary and macroeconomic stability was evident. Everybody felt the results. More importantly the country was on the right path.

The technocrats are all gone now. The PDP of today is not the same as it was before 2014.

which America? He should take outdoor pictures abi he didn’t meet other high profiled people there. Someone that will wear suit and do photo session in the studio and claim it’s America. He is working so hard to counter what Obasanjo said about him not able to visit America cos of his case. This man literally sold a quarter of Nigeria in the guise of privatization when he was vice president. He sold the biggest aluminum smelting company in Africa located in Akwa Ibom state called ALSCON (Aluminum Smelting Company Of Nigeria). The place is not operational, matter of fact the multi billion dollar company is now carcass, go online and read about it. Do you know how many Nigerians would’ve escaped poverty if that company and other companies were functional? He stole loads of money and invested it in Dubai. God will NEVER forgive him.

I'll be honest with you, I'm not sure about NITEL.

The one I'm conversant with are the Aluminium smelter company and African oil. These things shouldn't be swept under the carpet as it might foreshadow what is to come

For instance, Buhari's past governments had some very serious holes that even educated voters ignored such as his poor knowledge of economics and unprofessional ways of handling matters.

In the 1980s when he was in power, he introduced price control on many products. This is simply economic illiteracy as they don't work. It leads to shortages as no seller will sell you goods that do not reflect the market value.

In office in 2015, he introduced price controls again but this time, on the Naira exchange rate pegging it around 197 to the dollar. That led swiftly to economic collapse as the value did not reflect market value but also bluntly announced to educated and enlightened investors that charlatans were running the central bank.

Even now, the official rate is 440 and black market 760. Who in his mind would supply forex at that official price? The gap between the market rates must never be more than 3%. Presently, it's over 70%.

Atiku Abukakar lapses too shouldn't be ignored by his rabid fans. It will haunt them later.

The Atiku Abubakar and Governor Ifeanyi A. Okowa Team (Atiku-Okowa Team) will :

1) Restructure and decentralize our nation's security institutions for better performance.

2) Increase the number of security personnel to meet the security demands of all 200 million Nigerians.

3) Implement a Special Presidential Welfare Initiative for all our security personnel to keep them motivated.

4) Promote Police-Community relations to build mutual trust and confidence amongst the citizens and the security agencies - as a proactive crime prevention and control strategy.

5) Streamline the functions and operations of security agencies to foster synergy, cooperation, and intelligence sharing. This will make them more effective.

6) Ensure that merit is used as a primary determinant in the processes of recruitment, appointment, and promotions into the nation's security agencies and the military.

7) Conduct systematic and guided recruitment of up to one million personnel into the police force, to combat the current security challenges and meet the UN police to citizen ratio of 1 police officer for every 450 citizens.

Support Official Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Nigeria, Vote PDP 5/5 to Rescue Nigeria. ✅❤️
