Idiko1:

I guess you and Soludo realized the route to election is not necessarily to produce dumbass leader but lay certain principles to correct the wrong. It is very idiotic on the part of Soludo to publicly pronounced that Peter Obi cannot win and went further to indict the entire nation of Ndigbo of ignorance of political mechanisms. There was absolutely nothing such as miscalculation about Biafra/Nigeria war. If there was any senseless act during the era, it was the responsibility of Gowon and Nigeria. I shall never dream of war simply because Yoruba peeps have decided to cede from Nigeria and form Oduduwa Republic. I had to encourage them because it could be a progressive model.

Lol. The yorubas will never ply that route of destruction just like the igbos. A certain Awolowo with every influence, money and power he had. Secession never even crossed his mind to championed. A smart man like Awolowo insteading of thinking of forcefully-secession, rather channeled his energy into something more productive and rewarding like Education, which the entire yoruba tribe is still benefitting from now.

People like Ojukwu chose war. Well, as you can see the igbos are also benefiting too since then but in a negative way. Hate and envy is all they know, the outcome of the senseless war.

The igbos need alot to learn from the yorubas moving forward.

Prof, your points are salient and hard to dispute, but they are coming at a very wrong time!

This makes neutral people like me question the depth of your wisdom and leadership skills.

Some are already concluding that you envy the man himself... Since most members of Apga currently endorse and support his candidacy.

Nor be everything person go open mouth dey talk, and not at this critical time of agitations and disharmony in the East!

Soludo fall hand badly!

Igbos don't need politics to thrive. They need commerce and it's common knowledge what rules the individual economy. The average Igbo man is a million times better than his counterpart in Katsina state even though they understand politics. Go figure
Abdul05:
Truth to his talk..

Ibos don't know politics . It is as simple as that..

These same people gathered themselves at one time to support Jonathan into power..but now, refuse to support their own kind into power ..why?

Isn't it obvious to you that these particular people don't understand politics. . grin

Buhari became president through Boko Haram's demonisation of then president Goodluck Jonathan as incompetent to secure the lives and property of Nigerians.
Goodluck Jonathan became president through the actions of Niger Delta freedom fighters.

Yoruba Nation agitators raised the blackmail on Nigerians to hand power over to Tinubu.
Chukwuma Soludo is most apolitical.

I wish Igbo leaders could read this with open mind. Soludo made so many salient points and he his very passionate about the Igbo course
Soludo is speaking out of jealousy. Simple and Short. I stopped listening to him when he said he practically begged Obi to run on Apga ticket and Obi refused. Na by force? undecided
PS. I am not even Igbo but Soludo fit sell him mama if the price is right. It's disgusting.

Unfortunately

Peter Obi was smarter. He knew people like Soludo would arise.

He is the only Candidate that refused to make it an ethnic thing.

If Soludo like let him continue playing APGA politics
MB, SS, Afenifere, Northern Christians and Nigerians have endorsed Peter Obi already.

[b]Anambra governor Chukwuma Soludo on Monday said the Igbos need to learn Nigerian politics, as “frenzied nzogbu nzogbu politics” won’t favour the South-East.

*Cited how “under Tinubu, the South West strategically organised under a different political party, the ACN and went into a formidable alliance that kicked out a sitting president”

This is exactly my stand but instead of taking strategic steps to build our own political party or make investments in other political parties some foolish Igbos will prefer to go and queue up in PDP and be playing second fiddle to Dubai landlord

Soludo should thread softly and carefully on this path he's towing, he shouldn't set his State or region ablaze beyond repair. If he keeps talking the way he is doing, Obi may get sympathy votes from Anambra. You're a leader for God sake, be disciplined, know when to talk and when not to. With the high tension in the political and security space in his State and region wisdom is profitable to direct.

Politics aside, soludo raised some good point for the Igbos..

People like Dave Umahi & Okorocha have a brighter chance of becoming president. All they need is necessary alliances..

As it stands now, after Tinubu, I doubt south East would be able to produce the next southern political leader. It’s most likely going to be SS again..
