Their goal (which started with Zik) has always been to seize political control of Lagos (which, if successful, would effectively translate to a control of the rest of Yorubaland by proxy), and if that fails then stifle her development. Hence the false narrative they keep pushing that Lagos is responsible for their region's underdevelopment.

Going by his rhetoric and posturing, it's safe to deduce that an Obi administration would be very anti-Lagos and by extension anti-Yoruba. But unfortunately, a lot of Yoruba folks don't see this.
