adenigga:I cannot insult Baba on what he said because Yoeubas have respect for the elders. However Baba shiukd remember that the North has been deciding on who rules Nigeria aftrr the July 1966 coup which was described as a reprisal attack on the SE because of the January 1966 coup which was described as a coup against the North. The North after the second coup have been occupying the strategic positions and arranging things to favour them. Whoever thinks the North is not a decider again may to go back to our history and see how the North took over Nigeria leading to their being the decider of our presidential elections. 2 Likes |

adenigga: Actually they did not force us together. The North never wanted to be part of Nigeria that was why our independence was delayed from 1957 to 1960 to persuade them to be part of Nigeria. It was the south that wanted the North to be part of Nigeria. If by “force us together”, he means the removal of referendum, it was the south (Ibos) that removed the right to referendum. It was the south that abolished Federalism, it was the south that created unitary govt, it was the south that introduced the military. To be honest, all my life I have been brainwashed about North this, North that. But the more I read, the more I experience Nigeria, the more I realize the major problem with Nigeria is actually us in the south. Finally the North has never won any election outright without the south! 6 Likes 1 Share |

Adebanjo can continue to wail for ever. The votes dictate the leader is. So long as the north has the number and they willingly come out to vote while we southerners sit in our house watching Netflix, they will continue to dictate the pace of politics in Nigeria. I am very happy that Obi relies on Twitter warriors for his hopeless votes. They will be busy on Twitter on election day. That’s where their polling booth is located. 1 Like 1 Share |

It is not supposed to be but it is the fact Mr. Adebanjo. South was slumbering during the last population census whereas, North was foresighted and use same to garner what’s used against us today. The lack of love among the south is a big factor. For example, Atiku is 75, I haven’t seen northerners saying he’s Old but Tinubu is 71 Southerners are crying like he stole their destiny. This is inclusive of Ayo Adebanjo who over the years, had a fight with Tinubu over Afenifere but hadn’t found a way to let it go. Even when Tinubu made several efforts and even paid for his Lekki home where he lives right now. All his bad comments about Tinubu in the media, Tinubu never replied any. The so called leaders In the South have neglected the real issues over the years while chasing the flimsy ones. This is why they are at impasse with the North. Factually, no region can win the presidency without other regions. So every region is consequential but North is using their United power and population to dominate. Their followers listen to their leaders that’s why they record cult-like vote results during elections. But south will rather spite their leaders and try to see them as their enemies. We had sai Baba during the Buhari campaigns. Buhari always had 10Millions votes from the North almost mainly, during every elections before he aligned and finally won when he aligned with the South. And the addition wasn’t up to the cult votes he had always pulled from the north. How many south leaders can get that from his people. Hausa believe in Mai gida but south sees Mai gida as thieving elites. If you think one leader is maligning you or short changing you? Who’s stopping your father to become a leader! Ayo Adebanjo is saying the fact but he’s guilty as Bleep! |

They claim they own Nigeria, but the north have the highest poverty and illiteracy rate in Africa If the Northern elites have used all resources they looted to develop only the north and educate the very poor northern population Nigeria would have been a stable country |

The biggest scam ever in the history of this country was the almagamation of the 1914,That marriage was dead on arrival thereby given the north this useless thought of being the one to rule thinking they owned the country. Well that was what the foolish British brainwashed them to believe pure foolishness Nigeria is for everyone until we treat everyone equally we remain stagnant. |

Abdul05:and you forget that the federal constituency seats like you call it, is by appointments and not by merits, because if by merits the north will hardly get anything, and a southerner will come and do the right thing by merit, by then you will realize the truth that the north is truly empty and lacks any significant value. 1 Like |

The south has been taking a lot of bullshit from the north, imagine the governor of Gombe state blaming Niger Delta region for the woes of oil exploration and how they won't make the same mistake, meanwhile they allocated most of the oil blocks in the ND to themselves free of charge. At every turn they the south to come and beg them for power, they tell the East to build bridges as if the massacre by Fulanis yesterday in Enugu is building flyovers When north talks about population advantage it's all about the vocal Fulanis who constitute only 6% of the population taking advantage of Hausa mass illiteracy imposed and maintained through the almajiri system by Fulani Islamic clerics and Emirs with support from political elite. The South should aggressively expose, educate and empower the Hausa population and free them from mental slavery to the Fulanis. The other tribes in the north that have seen severe brutality meted out to them by foreign invading Fulanis can't be used anymore like in the days of Sardauna who ran an all inclusive northern Arewa government whose ideology has been dealt a fatal blow by Buhari's nepotism in the past 7 years and non charlant attitude towards the killings in their domains by his kinsmen. Hausa/Fulani is not a tribe in Nigeria, it's a political gimmick of the Fulani politicians to keep taking advantage of Hausa population in a pseudo one sided joint venture. 2 Likes |
