Aisha Buhari, the First Lady of Nigeria, was transported to an Abuja hospital after sustaining a leg fracture over the weekend.

According to DAILY NIGERIAN sources, Aisha "fell and fractured her leg," but the incident that caused the injury was unclear at the time the report was written. The hospital to which she was transported was likewise not mentioned.


Sunday evening at the Presidential Villa, the first lady was set to hold a wedding celebration for Bilkisu Rimi, the daughter of the Nigerian ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mohammed Rimi.



The First Lady's Office did not react to inquiries at the time the article was filed.
