The leaders of this big for nothing useless country are cursed with their unborn generations, why import what you have because of inefficiency and corruption ? Why are they not talking about building refineries before removing subsidy, it is clear that the leaders of this nation are all agents of darkness from the pit of hell. 4 Likes |

NNPC doesn't even know what they are doing because they don't even know what we really consume. Just like kerosene and cooking gas, without "subsidy", petrol pump price will sell for more than 700/litre and the meek, timid Nigerians will still keep quiet as Buhari and APC gradually kill off our economy and send thousands of Nigerians to early graves. ☹️☹️☹️☹️ In the year this 419 government created fake rice pyramids, a bag of locally produced rice is heading for 40k and the heartless government is still paying 30k minimum wage and some states paying less than 25k. 4 Likes |

adenigga: Useless country with useless NNPC and clueless leaders, what stop them from fixing all the Nigeria refineries and private them , then encourage private companies to build modular refineries, no they won’t do that because of corruption, the few modular refineries licensed few years back are being frustrated to the point of abandonment, I told people and am saying this again that by the time dangote refinery finally start production next year, a litre of petrol will cost at least N500 naira 4 Likes |

sonature1:This has always been my issue with Buhari. He has zero knowledge of how to run an economy in a fast paced world today, it's not bad enough that he doesn't have the requisite knowledge, he went ahead and also appointed political lackeys that had no inkling of how to do their job instead of using proven technocrats like Obasanjo and GEJ. He opted to use people recommended by politicians as 'political settlement' for winning an election. He ended up putting square pegs in round holes and messed his administration up! 6 Likes 1 Share |

hisgrace090:Isn't it ironic that today Nigerians are praying and striving for a future that was in the past? If a leader/government tomorrow gets Nigeria halfway close to 210 naira per dollar and 140 naira per liter of petrol won't we see that as an accomplishment? That's why I said we are now fighting for a future that was in the not so distant past....chaii! 3 Likes |

It wouldn't last forever so we ain't shaking ! With DANGOTE refinery loading , everything is coming back to a point . Others are building refineries no matter how small to support the nation . Most of our fuel { criminal } importers should be ready for retirement soon . God bless Nigeria ! 2 Likes |

F117nighthawk:guy you don't know what you are saying total removal of subsidy cannot solve anything until they fight corruption and the neccessary is done.. what have they done with the money they have realised from partial removal of subsidy? embezzled.. to a layman definition removal of subsidy means we pay for what the government is subsidizing and if we pay for it and nothing to show fort for it then what is the essence of paying? if you dont mind the implication of selling of fuel at 400 naira at this point in time then you are a wicked soul.. the only solution to all this subsidy scams is for the government to build functional refineries in Nigeria so that the dollar rate will not determine the fuel price but our local currency should be the factor or determinant |
Re: NNPC Petrol Price Without Subsidy Is ₦400/Litre – Marketers by Nobody: 8:54am On Nov 28, 2022 |
1.NNPC put it themselves at N492. 2.It makes sense to listen to the marketers to remove subsidy...not because I think the poor should suffer, but because I think that the poor should benefit from the subsidy money, not a tiny elite of marketers. |
Re: NNPC Petrol Price Without Subsidy Is ₦400/Litre – Marketers by Nobody: 8:56am On Nov 28, 2022 |
alimiadedayo1: Building functional refineries won't lead to a reduction in the price. The refineries have to be maintained, the loans taken to build the refineries have to be paid, and the refineries have to be upgraded. All that adds up. |

Enough of this subsidy stuff and price increase of petrol even if its N500..... Why do we keep importing fuel and paying fraudulent subsidy prices when we should be thinking of fixing all our refineries and exporting crude from here as it was of old.... |
Re: NNPC Petrol Price Without Subsidy Is ₦400/Litre – Marketers by Nobody: 8:58am On Nov 28, 2022 |
TheAlchemist: So? Can we produce the critical parts for the refinery? Can we manufacture a refinery from scratch? Even the NNPC refinery...two were built by the Brits, one was built by the Koreans. Oga, we are not an industrial naiton yet. So, sadly, we have to rely on other people's technology for now. Until we can make components and big equipment for the refineries. If the critical supplies were made in Nigerian, Dangote will buy them fast, and save money. They are not. |
