The informal sector in undertaxed, accepted.

States need to make rich people pay more but the question is who are the rich people?

A lot of them rely on tje government to steal the money we call riches. Imagine the G wagon scenario. How many people out of 200 million can comfortably buy a G wagon from their hard-earned money?

A lot of people steal to buy the G wagon, some got it as gifts, some got it through yahoo, some are celebs. How many ordinary citizens without any affiliation to politics and crime can afford a G Wagon in this country?

Nigeria cannot reap from where it did not sow. You keep your people impoverished for long but you want them to pay tax?

If half of the IGR and federal allocations generated from the three states in the last 20 years, should be used to develop the those states, they'd be as developed as Dubai

Your lots hailed and hailed and increase the poverty rate in Nigeria. You still have the audacity to be taking because of 30k politicking on Nairaland.

Don't worry, your wish for Nigeria will not come to pass. If the government sponsored by your oga is good, maybe the story would have started changing from the rubbish PDP left. But you guys came and turn rotten situation to badly rottened. I wonder what's up your sleeve if Nigeria should mistakenly elect your boss.

If Igbos decide to leave Nairaland today, you will begin to see reality on ground. Nairaland will be empty that you will begin to ask this question, "where are Yorubas and Hausas.

Respect Igbos so that Nairaland will continue to excel

I just knew that these Afonja Urchins from the waste side will populate this thread with their mediocrity.

Yoruba people have always been spineless so these stats and figures doesn't move me. Before bragging, ask yourselves this question, who and who contributes most to these purported IGR figures.

I know that you know that we all know that Yoruba even in their own region doesn't take even 2nd place in contribution to these GDP.
1st is Foreigners/Multinationals
2nd place is held by other Nigerians
Then Yoruba can then struggle for third place.
Meanwhile some states are 95% fueled by indigenes.

And its the fact, go around and ask who owns what in Lagos and Ogun State, are we talking about Dangote, MTN, Unilever, Procter and Gamble, Nestle, Foreign Multinationals, Chinese, Indians.
Talk of small and medium sized corporations, real estate, hospitality, logistics, maritime; you Yorubas don't even have a strong foothold in any of these pots.
What then do these lazy indigenes contribute ? It's all noise and owambe since awolowo gave you guys an advantage which you wasted.
You guys are just good in saying 'Yes Sir' and ass-licking your way to the top management in your usual corrupt manner, nothing more. Spineless clowns.

In fact, Ogun state alone is just an annex to Lagos as compensation for the lack of cheap and spacious land in the already choked up Lagos.
It is the preferred destination by cheap middle class Chinese and Indian entrepreneur to flex their muscle in a third-world economy with their factories that disregard 'human rights'.

If not for Lagos, Ogun would have remained a ritualist den with no single potential for human development.

You guys should shut up and learn how others bootstrap themselves to the finish line.

Urchins will credit Tinubu for this, just wait.

Who do you wish to credit for Lagos IGR growth and her ascension to becoming the 5th biggest economy in Africa?

The FG? Your indoctrinated hatred of others, matched with an inability to give them credit where due, is the reason your region, led by the most callous and thieving leaders in Nigeria, is totally fcked today.

Yet, showing you are cursed, you and your ilk remain focused on Tinubu an excellent and proven leader who has a solid history of delivering for every constituency he has ever being affiliated with be it Lagos, ACN or APC.

What did Obi achieve for Anambra, APGA and PDP? Nada.

We all get what we deserve in life and most haters dies as frustrated losers. I thank God Yorubas are never born with the spirit of hatred or envy towards anyone.

That would be a cruel and self-destructive curse as the world sees afflicting and limiting you people.
