Na real wa for dis Nairaland sef . . . whay do we always like to mix sentiments and facts?

Sentiment: That Nigeria should not recognize the freedom fighters when AU / SA is yet to
Fact: Nigeria as a country does not derive its sovereignty from the AU or South Africa.

Sentiment: That GEJ should deal with national security matters a la bombing of the UN HQ and other flashpoints before making public statements. (this incredibly sounds like what some have been insinuating on this board)
Fact: We gave him the mandate to represent us and make such statements on our behalf when we voted him in May 2011

Sentiment: That Gaddafi was loved by his people and performed well with Libya
Fact: Having ruled and performed well for almost 42 years, its time to go - and thats one undisputable fact!!

Sentiment: That the West actually care about Libyans and their welfare.
Fact: The war / liberation struggle is about the oil and reconstruction contracts. The guns have barely stopped shelling and already, we have a price tag of $5Billion for recontruction. I can see some British, French and American companies already chuckling!!!

Please for those saying Gaddaffi killed his people, can you please back it up with facts and figures? if possible with video evidence.

From Government troops, the western media has now changed it to Pro-Gaddaffi supporters, they are IN A HASTE just to force down the rebels into our throats.

Any supporter of Gaddafi is crazy
