Yorubas think the whole world isn't seeing what they and Hausa-Fulanis are doing in Nigeria.

I was at a place some days back, and was just listening in silence as a Ghanaian man who said he is married to a Yoruba woman and have lived in Lagos for over 30yrs now narrated how he feels about the Igbo plight in Nigeria and how it breaks his heart and wished he had the power to change things.

This man was almost crying when he narrated how Yorubas hated Igbos so much despite the fact that Igbos are the major tribe developing Lagos and other southwest states.

The man said he and his Yoruba wife had a heated argument one day because of this Igbo hatred by Yorubas, that he asked his wife that why do you hate Igbos so much despite the fact that it is Igbos that patronize you most in this your business. He said his wife went on blabbing that Igbos are greedy and abandoned their Igbo land and want to take over Lagos.

He said he asked his wife how are Igbos planning to take over Lagos? He said his wife replied that why are Omo Igbos buying lands everywhere in Lagos and building houses everywhere in Yoruba land instead of going to their states to build that they know their hidden agenda and that Yoruba will soon chase them back to their land.

The man said he was filled with so much anger that if not that the person speaking was his wife that bore him kids, he would have slapped her.

He said he explained to his wife that she knows that the nature of his work carries him to several African countries and that this Igbos that they are complaining that they are taking over Lagos just because Igbos are buying lands and building houses in Yoruba states is not just happening in Lagos or Nigeria alone, that he has studied Igbos and have understood them as people that love building everywhere they go to.

That in Ghana, that Igbos are building massively there. In Monrovia Liberia the same, in Ivory Coast, the same. That it is this spirit of Igbos building mansions wherever they go that is flying the image of Nigeria in Africa and making other black Africans respect Nigerians and see Nigerians as agents of development.

He said the wife jumped into another baseless conclusion that Omo Igbo are criminals that only do drugs and fake products which they use the money to be intimidating people that own the land they live. This man said tears dropped down his eyes and he then realized that Igbos are in trouble in Nigeria because there is a natural hatred for them by Yorubas and Hausa-Fulanis.

I myself almost shed tears listening to this man speak in his Ghanaian English accent. He said but he believes that one day, Igbos will shock Nigerians, I jokingly asked him how, he said he doesnt know how but that he believes the injustice against Igbos in Nigeria will make forces of nature to arise for Igbos.

Dear Yorubas, continue hating Igbos unjustly, you can give your own one million reasons why u hate or dont like Igbos, no wahala, God is the judge

Cry dey catch me

Comments like this shows that Nigeria is a forced union.

We were never meant to be together, u don’t condemn anything from the west without them calling u tribal IPoB.

Once u are against what the power that be in the west want , boom they remind u, they are ur host, they quickly make it a tribal war.

Until the west understand the east don’t see them as enemy the south will never grow.

If I see u as my enemy, I won’t invest in ur community, I won’t buy property and develop business in your land.

Can someone invite uncle toms like Mr macaroni and Falz to this beautiful and evergreen thread.

Osu yeebhoes were feeling funky during Jonathan's time. We turned the tables around in 10 years.
They should expect 1% from Tinubu and we'd also make the whole of South west hot for those ungrateful parasites.

Any bus coming into Yorubaland from the sad east must be profiled and searched thoroughly. We don't want backward terrorists in our midst.

If the president is smart, and I believe he is, he will never marginalize the Yorubas or the SW.

The stability of this country was based on a tripodal arrangement between the north, east, and west at Independence. The current political instability is a result of neglecting this principle since after the civil as a way of punishing Igbos, ironically, the north grew too big, the south(west and east) grew smaller and weaker.

As Onye Igbo, I know that while Yoruba marginalization may be benefitial on the short run, on the long run, we'll loose more if Yoruba muscles are allowed to atrophy, and the Hausa muscle hypertrophies. For a start, the Igbos will loose an opportunity for a healthy and reasonable competition in academics, economy, and sporting events if the Yorubas are marginalized.

Let me also say that the majority of Yorubas, at least those in Government since after the war didn't see any thing wrong with marginalizing Igbos for their own short term gain, but we don't have to make the same mistake.

The Yoruba should be made chief judge, Speaker of the House, or attorney general, we must focus on the tripodal structure not the current lopsided state arrangements designed by the Hausa military to maxmize Hausa benefit from the federal government.

YOU are the ones causing trouble in South-Africa. YOU are the ones mentioned in Kenya. It is still YOU in Cotonou, Lome and Accra.

The Government of UAE has PENALIZED Nigerians because of YOU

My friend in the USA say they know YOU guys already in that country. YOU have shown your character to them.

How can any normal human being TRUST THESE PEOPLE

You can't please these people!!!!

They are children of perdition.

7. Now Giringory Obi, the ObIngo Movement and the Zionists HAVE FINALLY NAILED YOUR COFFINS.

**THE RESULTS OF THE 2015, 2019 and 2023 Elections have CLEARLY SHOWN THAT ANYBODY CAN WIN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS.IN NIGERIA EVEN WITH ZERO SE VOTES.

BUT THE SOUTH-EAST CAN NEVER EVER WIN WITHOUT THE SW, NW & NE TOGETHER.

**YOUR SUPPORT OR LACK OF IT IS IMMATERIAL AND VERY INCONSEQUENTIAL.

**NOBODY NEEDS TO PLEASE YOU ANY MORE, YOU HAVE PROVEN TO BE TOTALLY UNWORTHY OF THE GESTURE.

**The Lagos State Government will TREAT YOU Bleep-UP, BIG TIME AND COMPREHENSIVELY BECAUSE YOU HAVE EXPOSED YOURSELF AND CLEARED OUR DOUBTS

** IF YOU AS MUCH AS TRY TO MISBEHAVE IN LAGOS ON SATURDAY 11TH MARCH 2023, YOU WILL BE SO ENTERTAINED THAT EVEN SATAN HIMSELF WILL FEEL JEALOUS OF THE CAPACITY OF THE YORUBAS TO TREAT Bleep-UPS!

Just try. The OWNERS OF LAGOS ARE NOW VERY CONSCIOUS OF YOU.

PrinceOfLagos:

https://guardian.ng/news/senate-presidency-apc-tips-south-east/Indications have emerged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will zone the position of Senate Presidency to the South East to assuage feelings of people from the region.

According to inside sources, with Bola Tinubu, from South West, as president from May 29 and Kashim Shetima, from North East, as Vice President, caucuses in APC are favourably disposed to having a Senate president from South East.

Confirming this, a member of the National Working Committee (NWC) of APC, who wants to remain anonymous, said some elders of the party believe that zoning of the number three position to South East will create a balance of power, in line with the original tripod in the county.

He revealed that majority of the party’s NWC members are of the view that in the spirit of inclusiveness promised by Tinubu, it will pay the APC to zone the Senate Presidency to South East, at a time numbers of APC senators from the region has risen to six, from one in 2015.

The NWC member said those supporting this arrangement have started reaching out to other zones to get their endorsement.

“Having missed out from the presidential contest in all parties at a time the clamour for a president of Igbo extraction was high, it is in the interest of the APC to zone the number three political position to South East,” he said.

The source further revealed that the North Central and the South South have also been positioned to produce the Deputy Senate President and Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, respectively, while North West will produce Speaker, House of Representatives.

He said the NWC members were keen on dousing religious and tribal tension in the country, with its zoning formula.

According to him, “there is tension already and the party is determined to reduce it by doing its best to zone its offices, beginning with the Senate Presidency to the South East.

Arrangements have been concluded to meet with our President-elect, Tinubu, on this matter.

“Since 2015, the distribution of leadership positions by the APC has not been balanced and we are committed to correcting it with the 10th Assembly. So far, we are the majority with 57 senatorial seats.

“During our party’s primaries, the South East didn’t get the support of the party to produce the candidate. This didn’t go down well with them. Now is another opportunity to prove to Nigerians that we are a party for all.”
