Food is expensive in Nigeria today because many people are no longer going to farm largely because of Fulani herdsmen, kidnapping, and generally insecurity. Unfortunately, there is no end in sight unless we elect a visionary leader come 2023.
Everyone should engage in farming even at low scale. With the advent of sack farming, you don't need to enter bush to do your farming.
With what I got this year from my yam farming in sack, I will no longer buy yam in market

Oga,diesel which is commonly used to transport food and operate farm machineries went from 220 to 800 naira this year,don't you think it will affect the price of food?
Fertiliser is totally imported,dollar was about 500naira this time last year,now it is 800 naira,don't U think it will affect d price of food?
Fuel price has also gone up with transport fare,d list is endless
