Far from coital compability, this is more about medical tests before proposing to start the relationship or considering till death do us part. And the main reason for the weightiness of this matter, is that you need to be alive and physically fit to enjoy love or romance. In fact to enjoy life, you need to be fit-fully alive.

Yea, genotype, blood group, viral diseases.. are very pertinent to check.

But don't forget to really dig into his or her medical profile IF YOU CAN OR AS MUCH as you can. (there are clues or ways to do this, maybe I can share in another post).

For example-
#Is there any hereditary disease in the family? any sign of that coming up already, sooner or later?
#Diabetes?
#Hyper or hypotension (BP issues)?
#Fibroid?
#Any obvious and recurring medical pattern?
#......?

You see, an apple does not fall too far from its tree. So before you pluck that beautiful flower that is given you butterflies in your tummies, try to look beyond the stem and see if you can find the root.

And when you do find certain things at the root level, do not leave it to when we get to that bridge we will cross it. Rather as much as you can cross examine and assess before you jump into the marital unison.

Imagine these-

Scenerio 1
After few months into a joyous ceremony of marital conjugation, you discovered your damsel has fibroid, haemoraging and she is hypertensive.

Scenerio 2

The 6packs guy with 6 cars parked in his garage has issues with his sperm- count, motility.. He is epileptic and predisposed to hypertension.

Trust me, all the above are not too far fetched. E go be like Nollywood shooting life video for your neighborhood.

So while checking out specs, do not forget to check how much you can hold/withstand. Do the tests/checks, try to know the roots and be prepared for what might come.

As a matter of expediency, I would propose to intending couple to plan to have family HMO immediately after marriage. And should be considered with same importance as having a house to stay together as couple.
