OTP delivery scam is in trend, fraudsters are pretending to be delivery agent to obtain OTP from customers and scam them.

This Fake OTP Delivery Scam Can Make You Lose All Your Money; Here’s How It Works
An OTP delivery scam is a type of fraud that involves a person coming to your doorstep claiming to be a delivery partner.

He drops off a package that you haven't ordered. If received or rejected, ask for an OTP and steal the money. They often do not leave until you provide them with OTP. It’s a scam and we suggest not to fall for it.

In an OTP delivery scam, the scammer may send a fake email or text message that appears to be from a legitimate company or service, such as a bank or online retailer.

The message may ask the recipient to click on a link or enter their OTP in order to confirm a transaction or update their account information. If the recipient falls for the scam and enters their OTP, the scammer can then use it to gain access to the account and potentially steal sensitive information or make unauthorized transactions.

It is important to be vigilant when receiving requests for OTPs and to only enter them on trusted websites or in response to legitimate requests from trusted sources. Also do not click on links provided in the messages.

It is also a good idea to enable additional security measures on your accounts, such as two-factor authentication, to help protect against OTP scams and other types of online fraud. Sharing OTP can help him gain access to your financial database where he can make any changes and steal money from you.

To be safe from these scams, you need to take care of your device and never share any OTP or click on the link sent to you. You are the only person to have authority over your card number, Security and other details embedded on your card.
Also, it’s good to make everyone aware of the latest online fraud and tell them about it. Elderly people are more vulnerable to this scam, it can happen when you are not at the home and the scammer might scam your parents.

Please let us all be very careful, Niaja is becoming more scarer day by day.
