Abiodun Alabi, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, and the Force Disciplinary Council (FDC) have transferred all officers attached to the Ajah police division.

Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos State police public relations officer, disclosed this in response to a Punch report that exposed police officers from the division caught drinking on the job.

“In addition, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Abiodun Alabi, fdc, has already effected the transfer out of ALL personnel of the division, with replacement from other divisions. This would fully materialize in a couple of days,” Hundeyin tweeted on Monday.

“While appreciating @MobilePunch for the exposé, we encourage more Lagos residents to, as usual, say something whenever they see something, as this would translate to a better policing experience for all. Remember, security is everyone’s business.”

When on a roadblock, policemen are always interested in extortion rather than protecting lives and properties.
How many times have the IG of police disbanded roadblocks. But after 3 days the roadblocks will return and the lawless roadblock policemen will not be punished.Maybe the lawless officer will be snap in the office and shown to the media. After that he will be released to continue his extortion.

A drunken policeman should face dismissal in other to avoid an accidental discharge of bullet and kill a passerby.

What a welcome development.
All Nigeria Policemen need Total Re-orientation.

They should all be taught the lessons of their lives.
And may her killer rot in hell.

A beautiful life wasted just like that by an animal in uniform!
Justice must take its full course in this very sad incident.
Killed on Christmas day morning...... so sad. cry cry

May God comfort her family at this sad period.
It is from this same division an Officer killed Gafaru Buraimoh about 2 weeks ago.

This barbarism by some of the Nigerian Police officers must come to an end.
This murderer must pay for his crime!

Lol. Take them to the north. Recruit new guys from south west there.
As for the killer cops, they must be sentenced to death and executed this January. Set examples and see how everyone ll behave well.

relocate them to irabiji but my own is hope she wasn't part of the ridiculous lawyers in defense of the government during ENDSARS........
Nigerians, anytime you see those criminals on uniform called police celebrating their successful arrest of criminals NEVER celebrate them.....Many innocent Nigerians have been wrongly accused and pictured with guns by NPolicemen just for promotion. but I can assure them one day.....The worst version of ENDSARS awaits them except they do a thorough and honest clean up from within. Nonsense

This will not solve the problem but make it worse.
They'll go to other police stations and show them how to be a killer cop.
Police men on the Nigerian roads should be added to 1000 ways to die.
