Your father was a 2 term governor, how many government buildings like ministries, agencies, hospital etc in Ogun State did he made wheelchair accessible.

I bet even the government house is not wheelchair friendly.

If you look in depth u will find out that the rich have more problems than the poor. Its just that their problems are not always visible like that of the poor.

More money more problems. But not having money at all is even a bigger problem.

He is even priviledged, poor disabled persons in Nigeria have resigned to fate.

Moreover, the picture I see up there no disble na? if he see 'disable', him sef go thank God say he normal.

I understand the plights of disabled people in Nigeria, Nigerians normally don't like helping such people, they will avoid you like plague.

I remember pushing a disabled man on wheelchair to his destination when he asked for my help

The only bank a disabled can easily use in Nigeria is First Bank.

For other banks, that mechanically curved security doors will be a challenge

You are an Ex Governor's son.
You're complaining..

Now, imagine what thousands of less significant people who are disabled pass through..
May God help you all.

Go back and read the passage slowly. You'll discover that he already attested to what you are saying.

Imagine the downtrodden disabled Nigerians living in the trenches and the rabbit hole. I saw one the other day and I wrote something in a piece of paper "sometimes death is a solution" and added to 500# and gave him. What that guy de live is not a life.
You are a cruel and heartless person. Why coerce someone into taking his life. Your 500 is worthless then
Bye

You are a murderer.

I have a strong suspicion that you've killed before and gotten away with it and now you are putting on airs of invincibility.

lots of sick people in this forum. Did you do that? If you yes, you need that advice the most.

Well, I don't know how death is a solution but I agree those guys are not ... .. it's too terrible to imagine.

I think they're dying not living.

Giving them money is because you want them to die slower

The literally and physically disabled /deformed/imbecilic are never living.

They start dying immediately after coming into existence.

A sick rich person is far better than a sick poor person....
Poverty alone is a sickness, this an obvious reality most poor people resist. As a poor person you're defenseless and if sickness comes you're liable to death. A rich man wealth is a defence. Whether you are rich all poor God is not anybody's favouritism. He does things as he wills irrespective of anybody's opinion.

He should blame his father for that. Not so?
As a governor, what did he do in this regard, not to mention him advocating for other public office holders to do what his son is complaining about now.

Why would you incite a fellow human like you to commit suicide?

You have not helped at all. You have allowed devil to speak to your head.

Of what value is the money you gave?
You have summoned curses upon yourself and lineage!

You had better repent, strentch out your hands to God for forgiveness and Mercy.
Seek for His mercy in tears and humility of heart; possibly He may answer your plea.

Turn from your evil ways and ask God to forgive you cos He is a merciful God.

Most importantly, you need Jesus in your life.

You self be like a curse on your own.

Fool.

That's exactly what he said.
That even though he's privileged he still found being treated as a human being hard, how much more disabled people who do not have that privilege and access he enjoys.

If my voice and my very being can be marginalised, what then of the voice of the average disabled Nigerian out there? What then of the Nigerian who doesn’t have the power to walk into a location with an army of armed escorts?

I am glad he is speaking up. Hopefully he'd continue championing the inclusion of the disabled.

You need laws to effect change. If there are disability laws, even successive governments would comply in building designs to accommodate those with disabilities.
His father was a governor and would not have made such arbitrary decisions.
Consistency across the board is very important for ease of implementation.
You don’t want a situation where someone with disability in Ogun state would struggle with a ramp in another place because it isn’t what he is used to.

He is not complaining he was rather voicing out for the average disabled individual infact stating his status as a grateful individual.
Next time read well before commenting.
