What were you expecting before? Dem say miracle nor de tire Jesus and I agree but not for someone stammering to go apply for customer service job. Before you say goo goo goo goooooooo goooooooooooood afternoon finish, 2 minutes done reach and customers would have moved elsewhere. Sorry bro. I understand your plight. I used to stammer as a child but my parents helped me through it at an early age and I overcame it. You can apply for other jobs. Don't feel bad that they rejected you cos truly, you won't be helpful to them in that role.

Quite frankly, very few companies will employ you for positions where you have to deal directly with customers. To an extent, customer care representative help instill the professional image in customer, hence, companies are very intentional about such employees. They vet prospective employees

I had this same mindset not until I relocated. I have seen people with stuttered speech, cripple do this customer service work perfectly well in the clime I live.

There are stammerers who only stammer when casually talking but once is official one would argue otherwise.
But if yours is irrespective such job ain't for you.

You too you have problem, you know you're stammerer, and you still went ahead to apply for a position that has to do with speaking.


Wisdom is profitable to direct, look for a position that do less speaking so you can help your self.

Madam, during your discussions and according to you,your deficiency is already known to him( the HR head)- don't you think you can ask for other departments,if you really wanted the job?
For I know that Companies always put premium in abilities of many disabilities!
You should have been cautious e g Sir, can I have any other departments to work?

I would love your response on this subject although it is totally different from the comment you made.

My 30yr old younger brother has been in a relationship with a lady, an auditor at a big four firm in Nigeria.
He recently reached out to me that the lady put in long hours at work, sometimes get home by 10pm, sometimes 12pm and he is not sure if he would be able to cope with such work-lifestyle.
My question is: have you got anyone who married a big 4 female consultant ?
What has their experience been like?
Would you advice him to continue the relationship or look for a family oriented woman?
