You're in the know. Their efforts are commendable but yet to have that impact. As someone who sounds very knowledgeable about the BAT camp, the north remains a thorny issue.

Not so much. Issues still persist with pockets of Northern Christians, but all will soon balance. It isn't expected to get all their votes though.

The North will vote massively for Asiwaju. Just watch and see.

That said, I didn't mention embezzlement anywhere in my post. My post is about project cost overestimation which is totally wrong.

Fashola overestimates project cost, and you can't tell me otherwise.

Normally I shouldn't reply fools like you, but I will.
According to you, fashola used 139m Naira for a project you thought worth maybe 60m right? So therefore he embezzle the rest.
So he couldn't award imaginary billions of contract and embezzle the money rather he decides to steal money from bore hole installations and a mere website?

You mean Lagos, the smallest state in Nigeria that has one of the least of the state roads, no state owned airport nor good stadium. Most major roads are owned by the FG. They generate over 700B annually and are also owing over 1tr? The Lagos that street lights aren't working, except in some few areas in the Island.

Lagos State govt under both men construct 1km of road for 1b Naira. This is why they hated Ambode who came and shock us with good plans and better efficiency in the management of the state resources. He never borrowed and didn't leave any debt for the state

Most Lagosians still prefer and revere the man. Forget region, all Igbo and hausa I've spoken to will tell you, if it had been Fashola, they'll all gather and vote for him for president.

Point of correction!

Lagos Island was the administrative capital of Nigeria NOT Lagos State.

Take note of this fact. Lagos State is NOT the same as Lagos Island which was the administrative capital of the British from 1914 to 1960 when they left. Even the British clearly stated that Lagos Island is Yorubaland. Lugard didn't want Lagos Island to be the capital in 1914 but KADUNA because he said Lagos Island was too small, it was inhabited by indigenes, and the weather was enervating or humid.
In 1991 the new administrative capital moved from Lagos Island to Abuja.
