Some mumu people are shouting that they should remove the subsidy because they have money to buy it any amount, what about the poor people? Many Nigerians are just too greedy, always thinking about only themselves. I remember when people are shouting that they should remove subsidy from gas and when the federal government later remove the subsidy, now we are buying it 800 now instead of the normal 300 befote

I remember shouting "them don remove subsidy?" on seeing N420 at a filling station at Ogbaku here in Owerri.

Privatize the NNPC for God's sake.
Allow more people to import fuel since we have sworn never to refine our own crude oil undecided

It seems you are not current with NNPC privatisation news grin

These marketers are part of saboteurs in the sector. Why are they telling us this? Let them remove subsidy, the criminality in that wasteful act is too much. By the time we remove it, Nigerians would know the truth.

Nigeria is just a huge crime scene... All that happens in Nigeria defies every logic and laws ever known to men.

It will take more than 8yrs of Peter Obi to undo the damage that APC has brought upon Nigeria.

To make Nigeria like he left Anambra a pig sty ?

God forbid. Nigerians wouldn't allow your pipe dream

Lol.
When I saw that part they talked about Dangote refinery will not be able to solve the problem, jealousy was written all around it.
Mr marketer , era of collecting subsidy is coming to an end .no more free money for una.make another person like Dangote enjoy his investment.
Go and build your own refinery if e dey pain u.
U can not be an importer of what we are meant to be refining and u want to pitch the citizens against the govt knowing fully well ur era of free money is coming to an end.
We will know how we r using 100M litre/day of petrol once subsidy is removed and we r buying directly from Dangote.

Any Nigeria supporting this government to continue its legacy don’t know the suffering that’s on it way, keep shouting Emilokan or Jagaban las las all of una go suffer it’s not a curse but that will be reality of it, both the rich n the poor will never enjoy the country again

They would have increased it long ago but they paused due to elections, once they’ve been voted for, boom! The price will skyrocket grin grin

This just shows that there are people behind not making Nigeria work in every way. When discussions on total removal of subsidy started mid last year, the price of fuel was out at N350 to N400 per litre. Now, they are trying to tell us again that the price will be N800 per litre. What this means is that when the government tries to increase fuel price to say N400 per litre, the government will still keep paying for subsidy until the price keeps going up and in the long run no remedy again.

There are people behind not making Nigeria work and the government needs to do something about it. NNPCL on the other hand will keep telling you how no revenue can be saved in the single account of the government because they had to pay for subsidy. This is all scam and until we get it right with a leader that is ready to cleanse the system, we just might be in this same problem for many years to come

At the end, we have to face the truth of the matter, that it costs lots of money to refine petrol, and we have to pay the market price for it to flow to us easily.

Anyone telling you that fuel will cost N40 is telling you lies. At the end, it costs at least N250 to refine one liter of fuel, and more money to pay for transporting it and so forth.

Plus, we don't have domestic refineries because it does not pay to have them with subsidy. Unless you are Dangote...with the collateral for loans needed for refinery funding.

Nigerians better wake up to relaity. As we should have in the 1980's....that subsidy is a burden on Nigerians, and it has to go. Cheap fuel is not a reality.
