Can you honestly say that the currency change over has not been botched? With days to go ATM's are still dispensing old notes, businesses are refusing payment in old notes and banks are complaining of under supply by the CBN.

What has all this to do with vote buying when in previous elections vote buying was by electronic transfer. The incumbent party does not need to pay for votes when there is still several months between election and the swearing in.

This position does not help any party. It only helps the same forces that led to a postponing of the 2015 election. How does INEC pay its temporary staff running into hundreds of thousands scattered all over the country.

I am sorry but the argument of vote buying is too simplistic. Notice that Tinubu focused only on fuel. Notice that Atiku has said nothing. If these people need cash in new notes, they will get it even if they offer a premuim on each note. But no its not about vote buying its about tenure extension for last minute contracts capture.
