I noticed most Nigerians have poor oral hygiene and don't brush twice daily. You will see a woman putting on make ups, a nice perfume and a dress to kill, but when she opens her mouth and talks, the stench from her mouth can resurrect a corpse. Not to talk of her yellow teeth which inevitably puts paid to her beauty. These days, I just hold my breath when someone comes close to me and starts talking.

To some people, brushing twice a day is a herculean task, while to others it's a waste of toothpaste. Yet the benefits of brushing twice a day - which include fresh breath, white teeth, healthy gums and so on - are invaluable.
Which makes me wonder why do Nigerians hate brushing twice daily?
