2023: Robinson Uwak Shines at A'Ibom Presidential Rally

*invades stadium with over 7,000 youths

It was pomp in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital on Monday, January 30, when a former Member of House of Representatives, Hon Robinson Uwak , again showed his capacity in youth mobilization, during the APC presidential rally at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

Hon. Uwak retained his well-known character of acceptability and followership, when he led over 7,000 youths and women of Akwa Ibom State to receive the APC Presidential candidate in the 2023 General Elections, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Drafted into the Planning Directorate of the Presidential Campaign Council of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to be part of the planning process, Uwak showed his high degree of competence, after stampeding the Stadium with his followers.

With over 10 political support groups, including Friends of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Akwa Ibom Progressives Mandate, Team Tinubu/Shettima 2023, Robinson Uwak Vanguard for Tinubu, Progressive Canvassers Initiative, among others, the APC chieftain became a shining star, receiving resounding cheers of approval as he processed with endless crowd of followers.

In a chat with journalists, Hon Uwak said the planning directorate of the campaign council was aware of his capacity, competence and acceptability, as a grassroots general, and thus didn't expect any less from him.

Describing the incoming President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the most competent, most prepared and most efficient candidate with the wherewithal to coast to victory, Uwak noted that it was only normal that he made his mark as one of the loudest supporters of Mr Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

"Our party is favourably disposed to carry the day in the upcoming presidential elections. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is a well-known leader and kingmaker in Nigeria. No one else has his track record.

"Tinubu is that man that won't look at your background. He is a leader who won't check your status to give you the privilege of service. He has made thousands of Nigerians, irrespective of their background.

"A dispassionate, detribalised and independent minded thinker, blessed with experience and a standing record of excellent performance as governor of Lagos State, Tinubu is contesting this election against his records and the facts would speak for itself in the next few weeks.

"So, we are here to show our support and to speak very loud that APC is in form, well coordinated, well placed and readily disposed to celebrating victory", Uwak said.

Recall that Hon. Uwak who was a member of President Buhari’s 2015 and 2019 presidential campaign council, had worked with the likes of Mr Boss Mustapha, Hon. Abike Dabiri. Gov. Babatunde Fashola, Barr. Ismael Ahmed, etc, to enthrone President Muhammadu Buhari.

Again in 2015, Hon. Robinson Uwak led one of the biggest mobilization in the history of Oro Nation, his federal constituency in Akwa Ibom State, leading the party to win a seat in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.
