I applied for a job sometime ago and I just checked the status of my application. It shows I have been longlisted. Can some tell me what that means? I'm familiar with shortlisted. Would like to know what longlisted means in this context. Thanks

Long-list is a list from which shortlist is prepared!

It means you are among the 1000 or so people they are currently considering.

Is British American Tobacco? They fond of that word. I dont know if they still use it. If its BAT it means your cv is still in contentn 4 d next stage.

I submitted an application at Samsung as regards the above topic. I was contacted for interview, went for it and still waiting to hear from them. Does anyone know what that programme is all about? Do they have good remuneration package for their staffs as a young graduate?
