How's power supply in your area? What is this government doing about it?

This is frustrating to say the least.

Am almost beat one Nepa for my area self because of this useless light they give us...when he want to come and cut light for our area...

I stay in Onile Phase 1 Ojodu Lagos,we have electricity at least 18 hrs everyday except when there is an issue which is very rare.

Na wa o, in my area, we used to have more than 18 hours but recently, if we see 5 hours make we Dey happy

We no see power in Zaria. They will only bring it in the midnight, before 4am is gone till the next midnight. Na so we see am oooh

We were enjoying 16 hours a day before but now, it's like 5hours in 24hours.


They supply it by 12am and retrieve it by 5am...

grin something wey you never use before, you dey criticize it. Have been living on solar for many years now, it power all my electronic gadgets including hotplate and fridge. I even use inverter AC, solar get capacity. I guess you are talking about all this solar lighting kits

I kid you not... we are using it steady steady here. They only off it after 27 hours...it will only be off like 25minutes.

Rubbish!
Inverter you can't use with pressing iron.
Inverter you can't use to pump water or if you manage to do after 4 uses the inverter starts having problems.
Inverter you can't use microwave,freezer or even moderate power equipment with.
Even with a ₦1million set-up,every 2 years or less you got to buy new batteries that will set you back at least 350-500k.
The inverter "scam" in Nigeria reminds me of the electricity product MTN once sold that could only light your bulbs but you got to be buying data to recharge it!
Rather use a generator with all the noise than buy those things they call inverters in Nigeria.

While at Toro , Bauchi state it’s approximately 22-23hrs a day

And while at biu, Borno state now it’s almost 24hrs everyday
So it’s great to be honest
But back at Lagos it ain’t
