But, it is coming with a cost for the farmers.

They bought seeds, fertilizers, pesticides etc at very high prices.

This Naira crunch is the reason why they are disposing their goods at a very low price to avoid them from perishing
Every business has its challenges.

Omo, I miss Plateau state oo. Throughout my stay there, na meat I dey chop because it was cheap. You can even buy #200 Fresh meat and they will cut it into like 8 big pieces. That was sometime 2016 or so. You dare no walk to anyone selling meat here for a #200 fresh meat. Lol

Wow. Una dey enjoy for North. Here in the EAST, that Tomatoes is worth 2k to 3k. Everything is extremely expensive here and hunger is bitting harder. Most families can't afford to eat here. It is that bad.

That is the danger of insecurity . People won't go to farm ..they fear of the unknown ..moreover tomato thatnuse to come from.tje North no longer come in like b4 cos some of them are afraid of insecurity...untill the perpetrators of those act realise that insecurity doesn't favor anyone ...the will things move forward in the east..

Vegetables, onions and potatoes are extremely cheap in Jos. Its like that is where they distribute to other places in Nigeria.

Those tomatoes are about 10 dollars in US because they’re organic. That’s close to 7400 naira! I think you got a good deal.
