It doesn't work that way. You collect and don't give out....this is not a cash swap, it is cash mop. It is suppose to be a cash swap, i take my money to the bank, you give me the new notes equivalent. Crises will not be created if this procedure was followed.

Don't be silly. It was simply impossible to mop up all old note in 3 months.

The bank made it worse by still dispensing and paying out the same old note you asked people to return. So what magic were you expecting to happen.

If not for foolishness, there should be no time frame for this. Simply allow both currency run side by side while making sure that the old notes are not payed or dispensed again till they are out of circulation.

I have met people that have money in the bank and cannot get something to eat. They have no ATm or App like myself.

At the expiration date, are their new notes available to replace the old notes.

Those who suffered themselves in order to deposited their old notes with Commercial Banks and meet the deadline, what was the outcome?

This is legally smart way to avoid the liability arising from supreme court disobedience.

They knew what is coming for CBN and can not afford to go down with Emefiele.

The directive from the President is an illegal directive that disobeys lawful court order.

Election holds in 8 days. You should all come out en masse to vote for Asiwaju. Only Asiwaju can stop them from turning your old notes into tissue paper.

Once Asiwaju wins, old notes will remain till December 2023 and Emefiele will be fired for incompetence.
Every one should remain calm please.
