Umahi for me is the best performing gov in the SE and SS. None of his peers come close not even wike. The difference between umahi and wike is one is loud while the other is a quiet performer infrastructure wise.

Umahi is trying in terms of infrastructure, but honestly this is a white elephant project.
The economy of Ebonyi can't sustain the airport, not to talk of making it profitable.
Especially when nearby Enugu has one. Owerri has one. Anambra has a new one. Delta has one. And of all these states Ebonyi is the least in terms of commerce and economy.
That money should have been invested in modern agriculture which is the area it beats others hands down.
How many passengers are going to travel to Abakaliki by air? Other richer states sorrounding it have airports.
It's not economically viable at all. Ebonyi is more of a developing semi-urban place. Umahi lifted it's status with his numerous projects but the time for an airport is not now yet.
