Nigeria is one of the few countries in the world where the so-called "lawmakers" are just rich men who buy their way into the National Assembly. They aren't actual intellectuals or real law lords. Just a bunch of men who feel that they're entitled to lord over their constituents because they have money.

Reminds me of what happened in Imo few years ago, a wealthy asbestos dealer who was given the contract to roof several government structures in the state went to Rochas Okorocha for his balance payment and Rochas instead offered the man the ticket to his constituency seat in the State Assembly, that's how an asbestos dealer found his way into making laws for Imolites.

Until we stop this foolishness of rewarding the rich men in our communities with National and State assembly seats, this country will NEVER get it right! Because the only thing a rich man knows how to do is to get himself richer. He doesn't care about you the average Joe on the street. Until we start sending the best brains and not the richest men, we will remain stagnant in this country.

Politics ain't black and white. Fairness is always taken into consideration when allocating political position. If APC decide to zone senate president to the North when the North already produce vice president, they will agitate the south and if they take up arms, couple with bandits and Boko boys, the country will burn.
I want to assume APC knows better than to be emotional and accelerate Nigeria demise cos with the proliferation of arms and ammunition in Africa, no country will survive civil war.
