Four people have been arrested over the murder of 11-year-old Rhys Jones, Merseyside Police have said.

Rhys JonesTwo men, aged 20 and 24, and two boys, aged 17 and 16, all from the Liverpool area, were detained this morning and will be questioned later.

Merseyside Police described the arrests as new, meaning a total of 15 people have been held at some point during the investigation.

Assistant Chief Constable Patricia Gallan said: "Arrests made so far are based on consistent information from callers and round-the-clock inquiries by detectives.

"All individuals arrested so far are absolutely critical to the inquiry.

"When we have grounds to suspect people involved in any stage, they will be arrested in connection with this offence."

Rhys was shot in the neck last week as he walked home from football practice in Croxteth, Liverpool.

Nottinghill Carnival is a very good excuse for these lads to clash.

There's a kinda post code war in London.
Hackney Boys and Tottenham Boys dont see eye to eye.
Everyone represents a post code and if u stray and find urself stranded in any of the rival postcodes then death looms.

At the Carnival . . . . These lads get to meet eye to eye in a neutral ground.

If the UK is allowed to carry guns like the YANKS then the Met. Police will carry guns as well and things might be OK.

Look at the astronomical rate of teenage pregnancy in UK.
Girls of 12 and 13 are getting pregnant faster than Thierry Henry on PS2'S FIFA 07.
Why? Because the parents and the society makes sex such a big deal.
In Netherlands . . . Land of sex and prostitution . . .Children in elemntary school watch pornographic movies in the classroom.
They use porn movies to teach sex education. They have watered down the effects and the anxiety on those kids.
Its no big deal to em kids because they have seen all what's not about SEX thus reducing their teenage pregnancy to the barest minimum.

final solution to street violence is good family values and home training (both almost absent in the UK ) Because no matter how much weapons are in the hands of the enemy, an unruly teenager will always imagine himself to be a rambo that can upset the whole nieghbourhood and violence will always ensue.

How can one have good family value when the government doesnt even promote it.
A kid dials 911 that his parents are mistreating him/her and the police takes em to PRISON without investigating.
Social care takes the kid to a hostel where he/she learns from the streets and not the parents.
The government wants to take over parent's responsibility by forcing their laws on the parents.
How would that kind of kid grow to know his right from left?
