There is literally no reputable state or city in the entire SE.

The North have Kano and Kaduna
The North central have Abuja
The SS have PortHarcourt
The SW have Lagos and Ibadan

SE have none, Onitsha only have a small market that is equivalent to any of these small markets in other regions , still it is a shithole.
Zero basic amenities, Zero infrastructure.

90% of Igbomen that managed to make it had to go to the Cities/States mentioned above .
That's their own version of London or USA.

They come with night buses with their polybags and work their ass off to go back home and show that they have become something while their brothers continue pushing ESN and IPOB killing their own kin on Mondays and tapping palmwine with their worn out singlet on other days.

Maybe they manage to build one or two houses in their village then they spend their days littering Lagos with poverty; then they add dodgy money rituals to make it ;that ensures their parents live in penury but when these parents die, they give them the grandest burial.

Finally, only for these young men to die mysteriously and that IPOB brother of theirs bully his jobless sister-in-law ,neices and nephews of the house the workhorse-brother spent his years in Lagos hustling with a dose of money ritual, and drugtrafficking to build in the village.
Then the jobless wife with the battalion of kids as a result of no family planning become liabilities in Lagos.
