•Says only losers disputing outcome of exercise

•Declares outcome strengthens Electoral Act’s integrity

The Presidency, yesterday, rated the February 25 presidential election, which produced the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, as president-elect, as the best the country had seen in recent times despite all the controversies that have trailed the exercise.

Many foreign and local observers have reported that the conduct of the election failed to meet the expectations of Nigeria and that INEC failed to follow the Electoral Act and even its own guidelines in the conduct of the poll.

However, Presidential spokesperson, Mallam Garba Shehu, in a release, declared that the APC victory in the presidential election, underscored by the nationwide wave of support in the National Assembly results, was a clear mandate for the party to retain power for another term of four years.

“This election is an improvement on past elections and due credit should be given to the government and people of this country,” Shehu stated.

The Presidency thanked former ambassadors Mark Green and Johnnie Carson, along with other foreign observers, for their concerns over the logistics of the general election in Nigeria and their work as observers on the National Democratic Institute/International Republican Institute Election Observation Missions.

The statement said, “It is worth setting their comments in context. No one has disputed the result of the election, except the candidates that fell short. The biggest and the most competitive presidential election in the history of Nigeria has been won by one man: Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“The US State Department congratulated President-elect Bola Tinubu of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) and the people of Nigeria on the outcome of the ‘competitive election’.

“British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, was also quick to congratulate the winner, on this victory. And so did many others in ECOWAS and the African Union.

“Though it is true there were some delays and technical faults in the process that we can learn from – as is the case in any election the world over – the vote progressed and consolidated democracy in Nigeria. The integrity of the Electoral Act of 2022 was strengthened.

“The Bimodal Voter Accreditation System cut out ghost, unauthorised or multiple votes to stem fraud. The election may not have been pluperfect, but due to the steps the government has taken, it is an improvement on previous polls. That achievement should not be overlooked. The next step is for the election commission to ensure transparency in collation.

“Adverse reactions as received from some quarters are themselves a part of the learning process for everyone. Elsewhere, the world had been treated to epic lies, obfuscation, jingoism and hate, and told by global media to expect a different outcome. Nigerians shocked the world by refusing religious hatred and sectarian politics. All true friends of Nigeria should join the people in proceeding forward for sustainable peace.”

"The contempt which APC has for Nigerians has never been hidden. For the past one year of campaigning, Bola Ahmed Tinubu (who is also known to Nigerians by several less palatable nicknames and soubriquets) has essentially been bragging to Nigerians that his party’s 8 years of monumental failure has no political consequences:

You Nigerians owe me a debt of gratitude for imposing a visionless and clueless failure on you back in 2015. You must elect me as President as a way of thanking me for giving you 8 years of banditry, herdsmen killings/rapes/kidnaps, record breaking inflation, record breaking depreciation of naira value, the longest strike in ASUU history, the worst fuel scarcity/scarcities in history, the worst naira scarcity in history, the inability to travel on highways for fear of kidnapping etc etc etc

It has become clear to anyone with even a half dead brain that APC does not care about Nigerians.Indeed, even if your brain is slow (and I am referring to APC’s diehard supporters here), 8 years of being exposed to APC’s never ending failures ought to have been more than enough time to wake you up.

The APC only cares about its chances of winning elections so that its members can continue to enrich themselves by plundering the nation’s commonwealth at the expense of the ordinary hardworking Nigerian.

But the rank and file of APC knows that based on their party’s abysmal track record of 8 years of enduring failure, incompetence, greed and compound corruption, their party can NEVER win any free and fair election in Nigeria......"

Is it the same presidency that declared openly in Qatar last week that the election was a failure or another presidency?

This election was supposed to be the best we have ever had but It ended up being the worst, courtesy of the fraudulent INEC faction and fraudulent desperate politicians.
Imagine a tinubu boy being the head of INEC ICT. The core department of the election.

One fact I know is that a new Nigeria is set for delivery.
The time has come. The authentic winner of the election will get His mandate. It is unstoppable.

The effects of having mediocres in position of authority. The only opportunity for the catastrophic Buhari to redeemed his eternal ills have been bungled. Instead of being remorseful, here it is going about with utter disdain and arrogance against the inhabitants of a country bemoaning the glaring injustice and worst electoral robbery visited upon the land.

Anyway, this is the power must be grabbed and run with mentality of the druggie. He believes he is God but God always pass humans because God is a God of equity, fairness and Justice. Emperor Napoleon, Adolf Hitler, Mobotu Seseco, Abacha were all thinking this way until God intervened.

The idiots that full this government tells a lot of how bastardized this nation have been under the last eight years

Sometimes I wonder why Tinubu bothered himself doing campaign up and down, if at the end he planned on just writing down results to give the INEC chairman to declare him winner.

He just broke another electoral fraud benchmark - Deceive the people with campaign then write down your result and give them to declare

Tinubu said that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS, required under the Electoral Act 2022, would deliver “the fairest and freest election” in Nigeria’s history.

This is particularly important because the next president of Nigeria have some tough choices to make and will not be able to do so with questionable electoral mandate.”

But here we are. Despite what’s widely acknowledged as a fundamentally flawed presidential election, devoid of the anticipated use of BVAS, Tinubu says he has a “serious mandate” just because he’s the beneficiary of the sham poll, the worst presidential election since Nigeria returned to civil rule in 1999.

But, here’s the truth. As Tinubu said in his Chatham House speech, because INEC failed to use the BVAS technology as intended, both for voter authentication and electronic transmission of results, and because, as a result of this failure, the presidential election of February 25 was not free and fair, let alone being “the fairest and freest” in Nigeria, Tinubu has a questionable mandate, and lacks legitimacy to govern this country.

So was the BVAS not used Look? Why were results not loaded immediately on the INEC IREV server? Why was the collation of results filled with many fraudulent conjectures?

Why was INEC never transparent in the collation of results? And this is what you're celebrating? Look @ his mouth like someone eating sh.....t

Very correct.

We thank Peter Obi for preventing block votes for Atiku in the SouthEast and SouthSouth.

He did his job well, and even prayed the honest prayer that was answered in heaven.

Peter Obi is truly a rock of support for Tinubu to achieve his destiny for the benefit of Nigeria's renewed hope.

Yeah it is true. We know the people who wants to undermine the hardwork of Inec and the FG because things didn't go their way.

Atiku voted and went home to start a party because he thought his hackers would finish the job. Same thing that gave him an arrogant confidence to not reconcile with people that matters within the party.

For Obidients, A day to the election, they still believed that Buhari and Emefiele was the next best thing after bread and butter due to the naira re-coloring policy that "wouldn't favor BAT". Even while everyone suffered the cash crunch, it was a sweet suffering to them.

What changed the is when it was evident that Asiwaju was leading and they were all calling for the election to be canceled. They later had a glimpse of hope when Tinubu got less than 25% in FCT. Lol They wanted to plunge the country into crisis like the '93 saga. Biko they can tell Mark Essien to count again not Inec.
