A Junior secondary school student was allegedly sent home in Epe, Lagos, because her bag had a Peter Obi sticker.

While parents should take care in ensuring that their children don’t bring political party materials into school, the school in question should have been more forgiving, and speak to the student, knowing that this may have been an innocent mistake by the student.

Below is a message from the girl’s parent:

“This is to inform you all, that my Daughter Marvelous Barinaadaa, was Exit from Odomola Secondary school today 14th March,2023.by the school Principal, just because my daughter use Peter Obi poster paper to Rap her note Book for school, and this girl is just Ten years old, she didn't know anything about Politics, but she was sent away from school without informing the parent, because they say we support Peter Obi and Labour. Please, Is this Act by the school Principal good, See what the school Principal wrote on that Letter. And after we will say we are one Nigerian”.

This is highly condemnable and should not be encouraged.

But on the other hand, this is exactly the same level of energy Obidients are exuding in the South East and on the internet. Intimidate and bully anyone not openly supporting Obi. Harass and intimidate supporters of other candidates. Abuse and insult celebrities, pastors and other renowned persons not in support of PO. Threaten and insult those who decide to sit on the fence. Wish death on those who openly campaign for Tinubu or Atiku.

This shows that no one has a monopoly of madness or stupidity. Bully online, others will bully offline. Bully in South East, others will bully in their respective regions too. Bully in Ajeromi, LEKKI and Amuwo, others will bully in Mushin, Epe, Ikorodu and Badagry.

To every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. I am not in support of both levels of madness still.

Let's hear the school's version of events before we take a stand. We're impartial here on NL. Right folks? 👌🏽

what if u get to your kids school tomorrow n u see a tinubu banner in one corner of d room

U asked how it got there n the teacher told u a student brought it n they have to respect his/her wish, will it b cool?

This your mentality is what ruined Nigeria, had it been those looters are killed nobody will loot again but since some of u are willing to support them once it suits your narrative then that means others will also steal n have defenders
