In the bible God gave a reason why - No image of Him -be made by men to ascribe to Him because He never revealed any appearance of Himself to Moses nor any man apart from His voice which could be heard.
Many religious people think God commends their abilities to become thoughtless or brainless but its contrary to God’s demands when He said “ Come let us reason together” if He needed brainless humans then He will have made themselves simply brainless.

ok let me do it for you in simple terms that even if you are slow, it's impossible to miss.
The Muslims are asked to perform salat at specific times of the day its a command by God.
Muslims are commanded to perform Fasting at the month of Ramadan. How do you know the month of Ramadan has set in? Its by sighting the crescent moon. The moon is an indicator of The Month of Ramadan just like the the first rain drop is an indicator of the rainy season capisce?
