The Porn Wars

5 years later.

One day John was having a nice time with his
wife and son, he looked at his son, he knew he
was gonna grow up to be intelligent like his
father, but then a thought occured to him,

"What happens when his son grows up and becomes a teenager, is there a possibility that
his son may also battle with a porn addiction?

He knew he had already quit porn, but what about the Millions of people around the world
who were still addicted to porn, what about
them?"

He wanted to create a world in which Nobody
would ever have to struggle with porn ever again,
a world in which nobody would ever have to deal
with the dangers that porn presents.


In essence, he imagined;
A World Without Porn


That night he did not sleep, he was thinking very
hard, and writing down his ideas on how to
create a world without digital pornography,
then the idea came to him.


He would create an artificial intelligence that would be able to detect porn sites and take
them down permanently, not just that
it will also be able to detect porn in people's
Phone and delete it as secretely as possible.



While he was writing down the ideas, a voice of
doubt came to his mind, along with a fierce internal struggle,

Voice A : "So, you want to take down the whole porn industry?, i tell you it's impossible.

Voice B : "Well, nothing is impossible if
you have a genius intellect and you also happen
to work for the good of humanity."

Voice A: "The good of huma..., ugh come on,
listen to yourself, the porn industry generates
100 billion dollars yearly in profits, and also pay
a portion of their profits as taxes to the Government of the countries they operate in,
do you really think you could stop them?
They have the backing of the world's major governments."


Voice B: "That, is exactly the problem, the
World Governments do not have any interests
in shutting down the porn industry, because
they make so much money from it, which is
why i have taken it upon myself to save humanity
from this scourge.
What i do now i do, not just for the sake of my
son, but for the sake of men, women and teenagers all around the world struggling against
porn, and generations yet unborn."


Voice A: "Well, you are going up against
an Industrial Monolith, you are way out of your
league on this battle, you're just gonna get
crushed."


John had already made up his mind, he was going
to rid the world of porn and he was going to do
it his way.

John vs Goliath


John had had estimated that trying to develop
such an app alone would take about 5 years,
given his skill and prowess, but he had miscalculated and the first version of the software
had failed, then he had to spend the next 3 years
reworking and redesigning the A.I's intricate
algorithm.



When he had a working prototype, then he uploaded it into the internet, from there the
A.I would do its work of searching for certain
Websites, videos, images and keywords and proceedto shut down the required websites, and also delete certain video and images.


John made the A.I self updating so he wouldn't
need to update it regularly.
The A.I worked slowly at first, learning how certain security systems such as firewalls worked, it also figured out a way to bypass those systems, thereby successfully hacking into a website's systems without being detected.



For the first two weeks John did not hear any
news about porn sites being hacked or shut
down by some mysterious virus.


He thought his A.I had failed, he told himself,
"If this falis, i'll simply created anothed A.I to
get the job done."

But then he wondered if it was worth the fuss,
after all he had spent the better part of 8 years
trying to create a software that eventually,
did not work.




It was a saturday afternoon, John was having a
good time with his family, or so it seems, he was watching one of those Disney animations, in
which the hero always saves the day and love
conquers all.


He looked at his son and whispered,
"Hey Ryan, what's the name of the movie again"

His now 13 year old son whispered,
"Its called "Frozen", its a really cool story so i won't
give spoilers."

"Is there supposed to be this much singing in it?"

Ryan shrugged,
"It is a disney movie afterall."

John was already fed up
"You know what, that's it, i going to go play
League of legends. You coming?"

Ryan nodded,
"Awesome, i'll play as Aurelion sol."

Amanda stopped them before they could go anywhere,
"Now hold on you two, where do you think, you
are going?"

John responded,
"I'm going to play league of legends, this movie
is boring."

Amanda sighed,
"Look John, we haven't been spending too much
time together for the past few years, you have
been working extra hard lately, and today is
one of the few days where you seem to have
freetime, so sit your ass back down, and enjoy
some quality family time."

John sat down and looked at Amanda,
"After the movie ends, i'm playing league of
legends."

Amanda smiled,
"So be it then"

The movie had already launched into another
musical, and it took John every ounce of his
self control not to bolt out of the room.

"Let it go, let it go, i can't hold it back anymore,
let it go, let it .............,

Suddenly the movie stopped playing, then appeared the face of Danny whitman of the daily news,

"We interrupt this program to bring you the breaking news, there has been a global
disaster, Pornhub, the World most popular
Pornsite has been shutdown, all over the
world people log onto their various pornsite
and are shocked to find out the website is
"Unavailable", some people even tried using
a vpn and the result remains the same.

As things stand, we do not know the cause of
the global meltdown, all evidence points to
A possible ransomeware attack, but so far
no hacker has claimed responsibility for
the attacks, we hope to be able to ......

wait, what's this, reports coming in from around
the worlds suggests that all porn sites are being
shutdown, websites such as xvideos, xhamster,
Xnxx, Redwap.

My dear citizens, i think we may have just
witnessed the first coordinated cyberattack
against porn sites all around the world,
and i hate to say it,
but it's been a success.
