A lot of you saying Obi's case would be affected by virtue of BVAS not enough to prove over voting. Obi isn't relying on over voting rather votes substitution and qualification basis.

Again, according to the new electoral law, governorship, senatorial or HoR ends at the Appeal court, any other appeal is to God. Only presidential appeal gets to the supreme court

Governorship election disputes get to the supreme court, just like those of the presidential election.

True.affirmation of the manual voters register has also made it harder but the apex court might overrule it as the register is also in the bvas
As long as as it is a part of INEC guidelines, they won't.

When the SCR was in the guidelines, they didn't strike it out l, they won't now.

Goke7:

even that 25% is toast cos it can never declare the petitioners as winners

muykem:
FCT 25% is errant nonsense. Our democracy and constitution was copied from USA which will never make certain people superior to other

Let them say it, so that we will rest.

I don't even see it as an issue per se in this context.

It is a big shame any nation that have fully conducted their presidential elections and in almost 2 weeks past now and the USA are even yet to send a congratulatory message to the so called theif winner tells you alot about the fraud called buhari selection.....

If you will check well....

You will see that peter obi won more than 28 states.....

The gap margin was so wide tinubu had to bribe his way through inec and thuggery....

Peter obi defeated tinubu and atiku combined by more than 60% of all total votes cast in the whole federation.....

No one voted for apc and no one voted for pdp.....

All the whole people voted for labour party including all the whole states......

The gap margin was so much and embarrasing........

Apc and pdp are sure riggers and will loose total power soon....

No one takes apc serious again.....

Labour party won in all the whole state because it was a trending party for all the youths of nigeria......

I am pleased to hear about the court upholding the victory of Governor Ademola Adeleke in the just concluded Osun State gubernatorial election. It is a great victory for democracy, justice, and fairness.

It is important to note that the Osun State gubernatorial election was highly controversial and contested, and the victory of Governor Adeleke was subjected to several legal battles. However, the court has proven to be the custodian of justice by upholding the will of the people and the rule of law.

The court's decision to uphold the victory of Governor Adeleke is a significant milestone in the history of Nigerian democracy, as it sends a strong message to all politicians that the will of the people should always prevail. The court's decision also shows that the judiciary is independent and impartial, and it is always ready to defend the rights of the citizens.

Furthermore, Governor Ademola Adeleke's victory is a clear sign that the people of Osun State have spoken with one voice, and their choice must be respected. The court's decision has renewed the hope and confidence of the people in the judiciary and has paved the way for a more vibrant and progressive democracy in Nigeria.

In conclusion, I would like to commend the court for upholding the victory of Governor Ademola Adeleke. This decision is a clear indication that the judiciary is committed to the rule of law, justice, and fairness. It is a victory for democracy, and we should all be proud of it. Long live democracy, long live Nigeria.

LP did not have agents at every polling unit so that will be difficult as well

I guess you were at all the polling unit in Nigeria to know that and did you not see the alliance between LP and one other party I guess ADC or AD or so. Wait for the evidence at the court.

Exactly those Obi supporters re too clueless to see the bigger picture here. Bvas report would have nailed APC in presidential Tribunal.
Other suits re mere academic session in the court.

Honestly, if overvoting has to be compared with registered voters and not accredited voters, then we should just throw away the BVAS because that's the main purpose.

Oyetola team did the right thing, tried to bring evidence polling unit by polling unit but unfortunately it was from incomplete data.obi also needs to bring his evidence unit by unit....
Apart from the fct matter, the double nomination by shettima might be an issue although one can argue that he was unknowingly nominated twice

Who said your judiciary is working.

The Appeal court justices have done what they have always been doing, just as they did in Ihedioha vs Uzodimma, and many others.

Where your useless politicians mobilize all their resources to buy judgements has always been at the Supreme court.

No one will ever say your judiciary is working until the SC, which is the main representative of the country's judiciary health, starts living up to its expectations.

Firstly, this case ended at the Appeal court..

Also, can you tell us why you think Uzodinma's case was not right?

Because, if I remember correctly, votes from about 388 units were not added to Uzodinma's vote...so, appeal court said it was wrong not to add those votes..

Adding the votes puts him ahead of Ihedioha of PDP..but behind Uche Nwosu of AA.... unfortunately for Uche Nwosu who came second then, Supreme Court had already invalidated his nomination ...so, he withdrew his case from the appeal court.

We all use emotions and sentiments to say the 4th came first, without knowing the details of judgement

Oyetola's first term, Adeleke won both tribunal and appeal court and lost at Supreme Court.

They should send all cases directly to supreme Court to save everybody's time
You wrong. Adeleke only won at d tribunal in 2018. Supreme court will build on d appeal court judgment to pass its verdict. So as it is,adeleke will win at d supreme.

you are the ignorant one.
Imo, zamfara and Bayelsa current governors won at the supreme court.

Appeal court used to be final arbiter some years back. Aregbesola won Osun state in that instance

They shouldn't celebrate yet....

Seems this ikpeazu (adeleke's lead counsel) Sabi this work, I hope he delivers for obi nwanne...
Chuba Ikpeazụ has been delivering for Obi since 2003....Check from when Obi won Ngige till when he was restated from impeachment and then, the tenure interpretation...It has been Chuba Ikpeazụ, Infact, it was his boy (Ejisieme) at his Chambers that later became Obi's Legal adviser during his tenure

It appears that APC's old tricks of intentionally engaging in over voting at opponents strongholds don cast. Well served. Very evil strategy.

Kudos To Appeal Court.
