I never knew how great Nigeria as a nation was, until I went to live in The United States.

The west doesn’t give a fuckery about The Federal Republic of Nigeria, because they know Nigeria can handle its business without interference.

Even same when I visited Johannesburg after all the so called Nigeria phobia, nothing but respect for Nigeria by the conscious citizens of South Africa.

You are right. Which is why the White House will ignore any protest about Nigeria made in their gardens.

Nigeria is not Sierra Leone or Gambia that the US will order to hold new elections or risk sanctions etc.

Nigeria has passed that level.

This is the biggest economy in Africa.

By 2050 Nigeria will be the 3rd most populous nation on Earth after China and India!

Meaning a magnet of investment of world class proportions going forward.

The west knows this.

They don't mess with Nigeria, because Nigeria is a huge business destination for their firms now and in the years to come. They want to be on the right side of the Nigerian government, not be seen as supporting rebellions against it, especially with China, India, and other competing powers sniffing our market.

Just last week, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was in Lagos PLEADING in a speech that we should engage British Rail in our rail transport development projects, rather than the Chinese and other nations.

''It's all about the Benjamins, baby'', as the Yanks say.

But Igbos, in their trademark geopolitical ignorance and naivety, THINK we are on the level of Sierra Leone and Djibouti, and Togo, which is why they go around disgracing themselves and crying to oyinbo to save them, thinking that something could actually come out of it.

They're an embarrassment. And I'M SAYING THIS AS AN IGBO PERSON.

We'll never do that... I don't know why this Awkwuzu thing keeps getting swept under the carpet, like it's not happening. The mostly affect region are keeping mute as well.
