We all know there are deepfakes everywhere online, not just for video but for audio.

Has anyone ever watched those prank videos on YouTube of the US presidents playing Minecraft while trash talking?

So I think it's wise Nigerians know this tech exist and it can be used for so many nefarious activities.

of cause tech like that exist , even some comedians are very good at mimicking ..

but the Audio conversation is very real, not tech generated .
No Ai can be that perfect make we dey realistic

I disagree with u... Ai don't do well at manipulating unpopular local accents... If you're talking about popular ones like British , American accent now.. it's different, there are more samples around to incorporate in the speech engine.. I challenge u to generate or show video proof of an Ai engine speaking in Igbo or Yoruba accent fluently...

Beside the facts, it's very very possible to train a voice and let AI speak it in any language. You need to get updated because these Innovations come in any every minutes we talk here.

And listening to the voice is so good, you just need to change the temperature, work on some parameters and that voice will fool you. What's your definition of perfect voice because even coqui is not even close to the tool I have in mind to train Peter Obis or Oyedepos voice.
