Did chief ize-iyamu and chief igbenadion insult Oba Erediauwa? Did they refuse to pledge allegiance to Oba Erediauwa? Did they challenge the authority of the Erediauwa. If they did half of what Ayiri had done to the Olu of Warri, they would have been removed and even banished.

In days gone bye, such insubordination of a monarch by one of his subjects would have been punished by beheading, even in UK as of 400 years ago.
