Godfrey Okoye University Orders Students To Wear Faculty Uniforms

The management of Godfrey Okoye University (GO-UNI), Enugu has banned the wearing of shorts by staff and students to work and lectures.

GO-UNI, an institution owned by the Catholic Diocese of Enugu, also stated that fixing fingernails, eyelashes, and other artificial materials on the body will no longer be allowed in the university.

Vice Chancellor of the university, Rev. Prof Christian Anieke, who made the announcement while addressing staff and students and its group of institutions warned the management would not tolerate staff or students who wear tights and other materials that expose the sensitive parts of their bodies, stressing that such acts distract other members of the university.

He made it clear only black and brown hair would be allowed on campus and gave the staff and students one month to adjust to the new rules or be disciplined.

The Vice-Chancellor announced henceforth, students will be expected to wear their faculty uniforms from Tuesdays to Fridays, pointing out that the directive follows the abuse of the approval for students to wear cultural attires on Fridays.

He said that the exchange of pornographic materials is taboo in the institutions

Anieke advised the staff of the group of institutions to be proactive and cover their lectures as the management would not have any excuse in case of disruption of the university’s academic programmes.

The VC warned final-year students against plagiarism, stressing that the university librarian had been directed to carry out plagiarism tests on all research works by the students and staff of the institutions.

Anieke asked the students to report any staff of the institutions who frustrate them in the completion of their projects.

Nicest move ever. The way most of this female student be dressing is something, this is school for God sake and not a hook up house.
Dress moderate to school then after class you can dress anyhow you want.

Meanwhile dressing doesn't mean someone is good or bad, Allow student to feel comfortable.
May my children never school in anywhere near Africa
Amen.

Why introducing uniform?
Is it secondary school?
You can ban short dress and body exposure dress not nails and eye lashes.

Good.

This should extend to all Universities in the federation.

The level of immortalities in youths of this generation is unprecedented, ALL THANKS TO MANY USELESS AND IRRESPONSIBLE PARENTS AND GOVERNMENT.

99% of all these girls only wear those stuff to seduce and propagate their usual prostitution.

In many higher institutions, the rate at which PROSTÎTUTION in the name of boyfriend/girlfriend and hookups is becoming a norm is unbelievable.
An average girl will leave home being a virgin or just one BODYCOUNT, but by the time she's graduating, HER BODYCOUNT WOULD HAVE BEEN HIGHER THAN HER AGE FIGURE, including sleeping with lecturers and other married men.

That will reduce Oloshoism amongst female students who sell themselves cheaply just to meet up with 'looking good'.

Just like in the Catholic Church when the Bishops decided that the uniform of the women group called (CWO) at all events MUST be ordinary China White material top and cheap branded wrapper with a simple neck chain or Scapula thus reducing competition amongst the women who no longer have to bother their husbands to buy them expensive lace materials and jewelleries.
I see female Senators and Ministers at Church events looking the same with women selling Akara and grinding tomatoes and they all look simple and beautiful.

Now if any woman attends CWO events in expensive apparel she appears odd out and even the women could confront her and ask her whom she is trying to impress.
Extending this to all higher institution run by the church is commendable

For an institution to initiate a ban, then it has gotten to the worst level.

In few years to come, good ladies/women in our society will be so hard to find, including reasonable men.

It's well.

I've never been a fan of all this artificial addition jare, maybe it's down to my upbringing, we were uptight, conservative and highly surrounded by a pair of strict eyes, I used to despise mum and dad for that but recently, I've come to appreciate their effort.

Not that I'm the finished article, far from that but there are things no matter how free and open minded I could be I will never do.

Just the way it should be. The only TWO reasons students, especially tertiary school students, are in school is to acquire Character and Learning. Any other reason is superfluous. Things are going out of hand, but the youths believe that it's the way to flow with the crowd. This was the way it used to be until Satan brought Mary Kay, the Brazilian Hair and Mexican Fingernails! These four girls below went on in life to be pacesetters, path-breakers and pathfinders in all they did. Today's girls are unwedded consorts of the politicians and the wild boys.

The American named Chris, as a Globetrotter that has visited many Nations in African and around the World has so much knowledge about Africa and African Leaders. He particularly noted that even though the Country has passed through many tumultuous times, Nigeria is currently already positioned for Greatness and very fortunate to have a Pan-African Visionary Leader like Tinubu as President. Something he said many African Countries are currently wishing for. He gave reasons why he expects the best from Nigeria under Tinubu Administration as follows:

Nigerians are fond of denigrating the Nation. Some cannot see anything good in the Country. They are conscious only of the weaknesses and blind to the great potentials and opportunities that abound in every state and geopolitical zone. People engage in EMPTY criticism of the nation and its leaders. Even the Governors and President-elect that are not yet inaugurated have become targets of mindless criticism.

WHEREAS NIGERIA IS ONE OF THE LARGEST MARKETS IN THE WORLD. HENCE :

Over a thousand Chinese have built factories worth billions across Nigeria, producing almost all consumer items.

America started its LARGEST consulate globally in the Eko Atlantic city.

Chinese investors are building a plant for mining Lithium in Kaduna

Indian Investors are set to complete Nigeria's first steel plant and one of the few on the continent

Local and foreign investors have just built a new seaport and the most significant the nation has ever had

Portuguese investors are funding the high-speed rail link from Nigeria to Niger

A Gambian investor has built the biggest estate in Port Harcourt

An Indian investor has built the biggest Cassava plant in the country

Elon Musks Starlink has launched one of its first continental projects in Nigeria

Microsoft, Facebook, Google, etc have all launched new mega projects in Nigeria.

South Koreans have grown their business with Nigeria to over a billion dollars.

Germans funded the first national comprehensive electricity usage mapping app in Nigeria.

German Siemens are revamping Nigeria's electricity sector.

Spanish companies just recently signed agreements to develop the Gas sector.

Etc etc etc...

NIGERIA IS ON TRACK TO BECOMING A GREAT NATION

EXPECT THE BEST FOR YOUR COUNTRY.

IF YOU NEED TO LEAVE NIGERIA TO PURSUE YOUR LIFE OR A CAREER ELSEWHERE, GREAT,
BUT

PLEASE DON'T CURSE THE LAND.
REMEMBER IT IS THE SAME LAND THAT GAVE YOU THE EDUCATION AND SKILLS THAT YOU ARE GOING TO USE ELSEWHERE.

PRAY FOR NIGERIA AND LOOK FORWARD TO THE BEST.

In the name of religion and other bullshit, conservatives take society back to the Stone Age. They ban something, when they can’t control their urge.
