The government does not need to build these structures. All they needed were to create an enabling environment for the private sector to build all these things.

You just nailed it. Its not about the money. Cities like this didn't spring up because there is money but vision. Creativity is a product of dreams and vision. So when you have leaders and citizens whose vision is only survival!!! It tells on what we can build.

Me I believe if Nigeria is practicing regional autonomous government Nigeria would be very great, because every region will be in competition with each other in terms of development and the senseless killings will not be there. Nigeria is not even on the path of this structure. We need to invest heavily on Human capital development. There is no way we can grow outside our environment. If we don't invest in people, if you start building this type of structure, those poor people would end up demolishing them. They would end up vandalizing them.
