Father0fjesus: Politically in Nigeria, no state, I repeat no state come closer to Ogun state, check both past and present political leaders in the highest office. If Ogun state na slum, we like it like that, meanwhile the last time I went toy village, walahi na your people dey sell Ogogoro there now. Initially that's the business of Benue people precisely. Ogun state na slum but you guys can't just stay put on your Eldorado. Oh boy, what exactly is pursuing you people from your region that you always run 440 away from there? 3 Likes |

Last time I checked, Dapo is doing the great job which just earned him a second tenure and Ogun is recording a giant strides. Trying to bring the number two man into state affairs such as this is preposterous. Talk about Ikenne which he has executed a lot of projecta for his people. Go and verify. O |

helinues: U are going backwards...is he talking about employment or he is telling u the structural defects in Ogun state. Come down to kogi and Abuja,Abuja to Nasarawa and see what it is to bother a town like Lagos. There are smooth road from Kogi to Abuja, same applies to Nasarawa state,Abuja to Kaduna Road, the same. The problem is that, tribalism would not allow u guys to see the truth. U are busy attacking the messenger instead of the message. It shows how detached u are to reality against someone who is on ground. |

Nice2023:This is a ridiculous line of argument. Someone who was serious about discussing "the structural defects in Ogun state" wouldn't be attacking the Vice President for failures in matters which are solely under the control of state governors. Even the OP admits the federal roads are in a much better state of repair, so what exactly is Osinbajo's responsibility here? I suspect you yourself are clouded in your judgment by the same tribalism you see in others, as it should have been clear to you that the OP started this thread for the purpose of tribalistic self-consolation, "The Fox and the grapes" style. The real message the OP wishes to send is that Tinubu's winning the Presidency won't make any difference for the SW just as Osinbajo's VP supposedly didn't make any difference, never mind that it was only in the last 8 years that any serious attention was paid to the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, or restoring the train lines between the two cities. 3 Likes |

omohayek: What is the need of a vice president when it can not persuade or bring project to Ogun state is what he was saying. Are u saying he shouldn't question him as the son of the soil. In democracy,we can not ask questions anymore because of tribalism and myopism. What a people! A state with huge IGR is doing nothing while a state with low IGR is doing great...kai what an irony! |
Re: Under Osinbajo As Vice President, Ogun State Remained perpetually Stagnant. by omohayek: 6:28pm On Apr 27, 2023 |
Nice2023:All you're doing here is admitting you don't have the first clue about what the phrase "separation of powers" means. Who's stopped you from "asking questions"? Isn't that exactly what you're (pretending to be) doing right now? You're free to ask anything you like, but everyone else is just as free to laugh in your face when it's obvious that your "questions" are motivated by tribalistic chest-beating and one-upmanship. And there we have it at last, the thinly-veiled inferiority complex over IGR accompanied by empty boasting motivated by the very tribalism you accuse others of. The problem with most of you is that you don't seem to appreciate that your motivations are as clear as glass to the rest of us. You want to appear "holier than thou", but lack the requisite smarts and capacity for self-reflection to pull it off. 2 Likes |
